Review of the long-liver OUKITEL K6000 PLUS with a high-quality camera. Conclusions from the review

At the exhibitions of the beginning of 2017, there were many new products, but one of the most striking were the continuation of the most popular Oukitel models - K6000 Pro and K10000. New flagship Oukitel K6000 Plus has become a competitor to the headliners of other companies - the same Xiaomi RedMi Note 4. High performance, branded components, a good supply of autonomy - an excellent claim for leadership, which is confirmed by thousands of pre-orders.

Will go down a year after the presentation of its hit, the manufacturer has released a successor smartphone:. 6 GB of RAM, latest processor and an updated screen. A worthy sequel to the hit!

Appearance

The manufacturer did not demonstrate anything new in terms of design - metal case with rounded edges, screen with small bezels, one-piece rear panel with central positioning of camera and flash. There is one mechanical button (with a touch-sensor) and two touch keys under the screen.

Little things are positively surprising. The screen is processed in 2.5D, smoothly blending into the body. The aluminum of the case fits perfectly in the hand and is pleasant to the touch. The edges of the metal elements are beautifully milled and give the impression of a high-tech device, the plastic in the case is only at the antenna exit points. It is pleasant to hold the phone in your hands, despite the rather heavy weight - no backlashes, attempts to slip out or make some noise with the buttons.

The smartphone is offered in two colors - a gray case with a black front panel and a gold case with a white front panel. There are no alternatives, but along with the release of the model, a decent assortment of covers appeared.

Processor and video accelerator

The processor from MediaTek MT6750T is an overclocked eight-core version with a Mali T860-MP2 video processor with two cores with a clock frequency of 680 MHz. The central processor has an interesting combination - 4 cores operate at a clock frequency of 1 GHz, at 4 - 1.5 GHz. The system can control processor power over a wide range using MediaTek CorePilot technology.

Coupled with an excellent memory reserve, this chipset shows excellent results in all tests. Against the background of A-brands, the K6000 Plus looks average, but in real tasks there are no hints of subtlety or low FPS. It is clear that the phone's capacity is excessive at the beginning to mid-2017, but the model has been projected for sale for several years.

Memory

The smartphone is not deprived of memory - neither operational nor permanent. The 4 GB of RAM on the current Android 7 and a set of applications and games is almost impossible to fill, which gives a good headroom for growth. 64 GB are allocated for file storage, of which 58 are available for file storage, the rest will be occupied by basic applications and the system.

The system supports the connection of SDHC / SDXC microSD cards, however, when connecting, you will have to sacrifice one of the SIM cards - the card tray in the phone is combined, and the case itself is not collapsible.

Screen

Oukitel does not deviate from the tradition of installing components from top manufacturers in flagships. The K6000 Plus has a screen from AU Optronics (formerly Acer Display), which accounts for a fifth of the global display market. Modern LTPS-TFT technology gives a clear picture with a density of 403 pixels per inch, resolution - standard FullHD, 1920 × 1080 pixels.

The outer element of the screen is hardened Asahi Glass Dragontrail with an oleophobic coating, milled in 2.5D. The screen is not made of OGS, so in case the phone falls, the glass can be repaired separately from the matrix.

Camera

Unlike budget Oukitel models, there is no interpolation on cameras in the K6000 Plus. Cameras from different manufacturers- 8MP front from Hynix and 16MP main from OmniVision. In addition to the camera - autofocus, HDR, face detection. Maximum video resolution - 1280 × [email protected]

The camera works and modern system- the pictures are processed with high quality, HDR really improves the picture even in inconvenient shooting conditions.

Connection

The smartphone fully supports Russian LTE, promising a nominal speed of 300 Mbps at its peak. Stably catches stations, does not lose connection even indoors. Matching mobile communications and Wi-Fi - it catches well in remote rooms, in addition, the chip supports modern Wi-Fi technologies Direct, Wi-Fi Display (Miracast) - transmission of data and screen, respectively, directly between devices.

Only the GPS module is responsible for navigation, GLONASS is not supported (initially there was information that GLONASS would be available). However, satellites are caught quickly and there are no problems with navigation - the good performance of the chip and A-GPS as support helps.

OS and features

The phone initially ships with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat, and Oukitel makes few changes to the stock system. Several specialized widgets, modified standard icons and several branded applications. Among the applications are tools for screen recording, energy saving, Reserve copy... Hieroglyphs in the interface and virus software in the phone were not noticed. The Smart Assistance launcher function is an additional curtain on the side of the screen that is fully user configurable.

OTG in K6000 Plus works like other declared “proprietary” (for Chinese brands and Oukitel) functions - HotKnot, Miracast, GestureLock. The fingerprint sensor should be singled out separately - it "moved" to the front of the case, under the screen.

Battery

One of the main features of a smartphone is its battery. Oukitel hasn't been seen cheating on the size of the battery, and the stated 6080 mAh battery is quite real, which has already been verified by tests. Manufacturer battery- SCUD, a supplier of A-brands, has already been used by Oukitel in other top smartphones. The volume of power supply is enough for 10 hours of active use (video, games) or more than 40 hours of talk. LiPol (lithium polymer) manufacturing technology.

Fully tested and available MediaTek PumpExpress Plus - Fast charging technology at high voltage, which uses its own 12V / 2A charger. Ordinary 5/1 charges will work, but you shouldn't count on the "100 minutes from 0 to 100%" declared by the manufacturer.

Many people are afraid of the fast charging function - but it is not in vain supplied by the CPU manufacturer - a complex controller is responsible for charging PumpExpress, which works with each battery "bank" in the battery, and the actual battery life does not decrease.

Equipment

In the complete set of Oukitel K6000 Plus, the manufacturer remains true to himself - nothing more:

  • The now classic orange Oukitel box;
  • Telephone;
  • Silicone bumper;
  • Screen protector;
  • Charger 12V / 2A;
  • MicroUSB cable;
  • OTG cable.

Hello friends. If you are still looking for a smartphone with excellent autonomy and you do not want to charge the device every day, then today we will consider a very interesting option from the OUKITEL brand, the K6000 PLUS model. It has an eight-core processor, 4 Gb of RAM, 16MP camera, Android 7.0, 6080 mAh battery. There are also disadvantages.

OUKITEL stands out from the crowd in the smartphone market. Mainly because they install honest, high-capacity batteries. Previously, the company focused only on this, but the K6000 PLUS is a slightly different story.

Contents of delivery

Supplied in a bright orange packaging, which shows the company logo and lists the main features. Inside the box, in addition to the smartphone, there is an instruction, a paper clip for removing the tray, a proprietary protective film for the screen. At the bottom of the box there are two compartments with tabs, under which there is an OTG cable, a charging cable and a power adapter.

The parameters are very interesting, but more on that later. Another nice bonus in the kit is a silicone case with a diamond-shaped notch, which was present on the smartphone. There are also shipping films. After removing the front one, it turned out that the main one is present on the screen, which can also be attributed to the pluses, and it is glued well. Well, the first impression is pleasant. With such a battery, honestly, a huge brick was expected, but it turns out that not at all.

Appearance

The body is metal and resembles in color Redmi 4, Redmi Pro S from Xiaomi. Plastic inserts only at the top and bottom, under the antenna. Due to the beveled chamfer, it is comfortable to hold in the hand, does not slip and feels confident. In the front part at the top is located front-camera, proximity sensor, illumination, event indicator, hearing speaker.

There is an interesting situation on the bottom, there are two touch buttons, they have symbols and adaptive backlighting, if you touch it slightly, the backlight becomes brighter, quite convenient. Center button mechanical, and at the same time is a fingerprint scanner. On the bottom there is symmetry, a micro USB connector, and two holes for the main speaker, although the sound comes only from the right one.

On the top there is a 3.5 mm connector, on the left there is a combo slot for micro SD or two nano SIM cards. With the right swing for volume control, and a power-lock button for the smartphone. On the back there is a 16MP camera and flash.

The operating room is available to the user out of the box. Android system 7.0, referred to as Nougat. When you turn on, you need to go quick setup, there are many language packs, including Russian and Ukrainian, to choose from.

Screen

OUKITEL K6000 PLUS is equipped with 5.5 inch display, with a resolution of 1920X1080 pixels, 401 ppi. It is made using LTPS technology, which provides high brightness, sharpness and color rendition.

Naturally, there are no problems with viewing angles. The display itself is made using 2.5 D technology, slightly rounded edges, called Dragontrail glass. Brightness reserves are good in both directions. There is adaptive backlighting, and the Mira vision application is responsible for adjusting the brightness in the smartphone, as in many others.

Software equipment

Out of the box, we get Android 7.0, in which the Launcher has been redesigned and the icons have been redrawn. There are several additional functions, and the second space is also provided, as in shell MIUI from Xiaomi. Unlock with gestures, watch video on top of other windows. Built-in Recorder program that allows you to record actions on the screen, and many more useful and small chips.

Technical stuffing

The device operates on an energy efficient 8 nuclear processor MEDIA TEK MT 6750T with a maximum clock frequency of 1.5 Hz. Works in tandem with the GPU-video chip Mali 860, while onboard 4 Gb random access memory, and a built-in 64 Gb storage. If this is not enough, then expansion is provided, up to 64 Gb.

Synthetic tests

In AnTuTu, the OUKITEL K6000 PLUS scored 45,000 points, which will be more than enough for work and play with most games. Although the MT 6750T processor is not new, and is rarely installed on 5.5-inch devices with Full HD resolutions. In GeekBench, the single-core test scored 617 points, and the multi-core - 2700.

Epic Citadel showed 40 frames per second at ultra high settings, 54.5 at high settings. WI-FI module signal works well, the speed test showed decent results. It works with all 4G networks in Russia, it connects quickly to satellites, the connection is good. The 5.5-inch screen can be used as a navigator.

K6000 PLUS in games

If you want to play, no problem, installing Asphalt 8 along with loading the 1.3 Gb cache took about three minutes. At maximum settings with blur, no freezes, no lags. It is convenient to play due to the side frames. There is no heating, even after an hour of playing the smartphone was barely warm.

Camera

We got to the most interesting parameters, these are the camera and autonomy. If the previous version had a terrible camera, then the manufacturers decided to completely eliminate this problem, and equipped the smartphone with a PLUS prefix, or rather, an improved camera, which is now based on the Only Vision 16880 sensor with a resolution of 16MP, with phase detection autofocus and a pixel size. equal to one micrometer.

There are no detailed settings in the shell, but there is an opportunity to take a beauty photo, and this function, in this case, works well. The manufacturers also emphasized it during the presentation.

Focusing is fast, according to the statement it works in 0.1 second, in fact it will not be possible to count, but really, without problems, it focuses. Of the advantages, I note excellent macro photography, the presence of a manual mode for adjusting ISO, exposure and light mode. Looking at some of the photos, it's hard to believe that they were taken with a smartphone in this price range.

The front camera is honest 8 megapixels. The photo is of decent quality, I can't say anything bad.

As for the video, the recording resolution is Full HD, while electronic stabilization is provided, which will smooth out shaking hands.

Autonomy

The main feature of this smartphone and the brand as a whole is autonomy. The 6000 prefix in the model name reflects the capacity of the battery built into it. There are models on the market with similar batteries, but OUKITEL has added the ability * to quickly charge MTK PAMP Express 12V and a current of 2A. This makes it possible to charge from 1 to 100% in one hundred minutes. At the same time, there is a test that 5 minutes of charging is enough for 2 hours of talk.

Everything is perfectly balanced, I spent the whole day trying to drain the battery, doing many different tests, watching YouTube, playing asphalt 8 for an hour. It was 50% off the box, and after all these manipulations, twenty percent remained by the end of the day. That is, the smartphone will live by rail for 3-4 days. In addition, a battery saving mode is provided.

And given the fact that it charges in less than two hours, this is a very tangible difference for those who have to charge their smartphone every day.

For me, autonomy is a huge plus. AnTuTu battery test showed a result of as much as 9500 points. Watching YouTube videos in Full HD quality drained the battery by 15% in an hour at maximum screen brightness. Good result.

Flaws

In addition to all the advantages, there are, of course, disadvantages that immediately, for me personally, caught my eye. This is a volume control swing, it is not tightly located, there is a gap in the hole, which creates a kind of clatter if you shake the smartphone. The problem, although insignificant, can cause discomfort to someone.

Another disadvantage, in my personal opinion, is not a loud main speaker. I'm not saying that the sound is bad, but I still miss one or two volume positions. I would like to add a couple more items and everything will be fine. Although the situation is different with the headphones, the sound is good, the IW 8736 amplifier is installed.

And if we really quibble, that is, a minor inconsistency, plastic inserts for the antenna, and the main metal case. Perhaps this is such an idea, but not for perfectionists.

Conclusions from the review

What do we end up with? The OUKITEL K6000 PLUS smartphone turned out to be quite balanced in characteristics, pros and cons. The 6080mAh battery deserves great attention, fast charging, more than, good camera for this price segment, metal body, front-facing fast fingerprint scanner. Touch buttons with adaptive backlighting, support for all networks, no large black frames around the screen. The screen matrix itself, Android 7 out of the box, in Russian.

It is not known what problems will arise in the future, but after a week of testing, everything is fine so far. If there were any rigid jambs, then I think they would appear. And so the price-quality, functionality - good. This model will find its user on the market.

Smartphones Chinese brand Oukitel are infrequent guests on the domestic market of mobile gadgets. Over the past couple of years, the company has released three phones of the K6000 series, distinguished primarily by their capacious 6080 mAh batteries. Notable and most practical is the latest model in the series - Oukitel K6000 Plus (Android 7.0 / MTK6750T). Reviews about it, albeit ambiguous, but the gadget deserves attention and careful consideration.

In general, such a low demand for Oukitel's products is caused by not entirely competent, or rather, unacceptable for Russian realities, pricing policy. Those who prefer devices of the mid-price segment (more than 15 thousand rubles) consider the brand's models too modest for themselves and mediocre, and fans of budget models (less than 10 thousand rubles) do not want to spend an extra couple of thousand of their hard-earned money on something like and unnecessary "chips" that you can easily do without. Therefore, the Oukitel K6000 Plus smartphone is stuck at a crossroads with a price tag of 11 thousand rubles, even after the "filling" has been significantly improved compared to previous generations. Despite this, the device, although not with such success as those of competitors, is being sold, and we will try to figure out why.

So, the hero of today's review is the Oukitel K6000 Plus smartphone. User reviews, characteristics of the gadget, as well as its advantages and disadvantages will be discussed in our article.

Equipment

The device is delivered in a bright orange box made of thick cardboard, specific to Oukitel. The design is meager: the brand logo is depicted on the front and on the ends, and on the back - brief specification for the most notable features of the Oukitel K6000 Plus. Dealership entourage in the face of stickers, barcodes and labels can be seen around the entire perimeter of the box.

Contents of delivery:

  • Oukitel K6000 Plus phone;
  • power adapter;
  • micro USB cable;
  • Silicone Case;
  • OTG cable;
  • paper clip for trays with cards;
  • manual;
  • warranty obligations.

Comparatively good equipment for a budget model. Based on the owners' feedback on the Oukitel K6000 Plus, they were particularly pleased to have the really necessary OTG cable and case. It's good that the manufacturer did not put the headset in the kit, because in this price segment she just isn't needed. Headphones "for show" significantly affect the cost of the entire gadget, but there is no sense in them, by and large, so it is much more practical to shift the purchase of a headset onto the shoulders of consumers - they themselves will choose what they need.

Appearance

Oukitel K6000 Plus has a classic design - monoblock with touch screen... Looking at the heap of other mobile gadgets, you can't call a smartphone light and thin. The device has quite impressive dimensions - 77 x 155 x 9.5 mm and weighs 208 grams. Such unpretentiousness is a payback for a capacious, as well as a massive, rechargeable battery.

Despite its size, in customer reviews of the Oukitel K6000 Plus, there are practically no negative responses regarding ergonomics: the device fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and you can operate it with one hand with due comfort. Yes, fragile female hands will have a hard time with such a weight, but only when watching videos or playing games, and during conversations that last no more than ten minutes, the impressiveness of the device is not felt.

The design of the gadget is mainly dominated by aluminum alloy, and plastic inserts can be seen at the top and bottom of the cover, where the antennas are located. The case pleasantly cools the hand and inspires confidence, so I can't even call Oukitel K6000 Plus a budget model.

Interfaces

On the front panel in the upper part there is a familiar set: a front camera peephole, an LED event indicator and a light sensor. The indicator is barely noticeable, and in a bright daylight practically invisible. By the way, the events for which he will be responsible can be selected in the settings.

The lower part of the front panel is occupied by the physical Home key, which is also a fingerprint scanner. On the sides there are touch buttons "Back" and "Context menu". On this occasion, the owners leave ambiguous reviews about the Oukitel K6000 Plus phone, because in previous generations this key was not there, but there were familiar touch buttons. Those who used Samsung, Homtoms or other similar gadgets with the same physical control did not experience any problems with the innovation, and the rest considered such a solution superfluous and did not meet expectations.

Also, many owners, in their reviews of the Oukitel K6000 Plus smartphone, complained about the too dim backlighting of the touch keys: even in a dark room, it is very difficult to see the outlines, and you have to poke your fingers at random.

I am glad that the designers have added functionality to the fingerprint scanner. Now the sensor supports gesture support: for example, with a single tap, you can pause the track being played or play the selected one. As for the operation of the scanner itself, there are no serious questions to it. Judging by the reviews about the Oukitel K6000 Plus, users rate the recognition accuracy at 9 out of 10 points, which is more than acceptable for a device in this price range.

In the upper rear part of the device, you can see the eye of the main camera (16 megapixels), a duplicated LED flash. There is nothing at the bottom, just the brand logo and the address of the Internet resource.

On the right side there is a power off key and a volume rocker. The latter, judging by the reviews about the Oukitel K6000 Plus, has a little backlash - unpleasant, but not critical. The left side is occupied by a hybrid interface for two nano-SIM cards (or one SD and SIM card).

Above is a standard 3.5 mm mini-jack audio output. The bottom end is reserved for the micro-USB output, and on the sides of it there are two decorative grilles with perforations: behind one there is a microphone, and behind the other - an external speaker. By the way, users in their reviews of Oukitel K6000 Plus have repeatedly complained about ill-conceived perforation. On the one hand, yes, this adds attractiveness to the gadget, but on the other hand, holes are clogged, and in order to get the "pocket" dirt out of them, you need to arm yourself with a needle or thin tweezers, that is, simply shaking the phone will not help here.

Assembly

As for the assembly, users have no serious complaints about the smartphone: nothing creaks, no backlash (except for the volume rocker) and no crunching. All parts are fitted to each other, so there are no gaps either.

The device comes in two different colors: a light panel - a gold back cover, and a black panel - a gray cover. Judging by the reviews about Oukitel K6000 Plus, the latter solution looks much nicer and more solid. But looking at the design part as a whole, we can say that we have a typical representative budget segment, of which there are hundreds on store shelves.

Screen

The device has a good IPS-matrix with a high screen resolution (Full HD) and a good angle view. Oukitel K6000 Plus received a 5.5-inch display, where the 1920 x 1080 px layout looks quite acceptable. The pixel density of 401 ppi allows you to work with the proper comfort on the device, and you will not be able to see individual pixels, even if you really want to.

The display itself is protected by a 2.5D class Asahi Glass Dragontrail glass panel. In addition, the factory film is additionally glued to the device. although mediocre, it is available both on film and on glass, and it does not interfere with the view in any way. Oukitel K6000 Plus supports OGS technology, so between protective shield and there are no air gaps in the display.

Matrix features

The reserves of the maximum and minimum brightness levels of the matrix are at the middle level. The first parameter allows you to work more or less tolerably in direct sunlight, and the second slightly blinds your eyes in a dark room, so you shouldn't sin on auto-tuning - it really is, and automation has nothing to do with it. Contrast fluctuates around 560 units at average brightness, which is quite acceptable for this price category.

As for the viewing angles, they are maximum for an IPS matrix, so you can watch a video or flip through a gallery of pictures in the company of one or two like-minded people. The only thing worth noting is that even with a slight change in the angle, the picture looks a little dull, that is, a certain percentage of brightness is lost.

Generally speaking, the factory calibration of the matrix is done frankly poorly, and it is better to redo all this special utilities(requires administrator rights), so you can't name the characteristics of the screen strong point smartphone.

Performance

Oukitel K6000 Plus has a set of chipsets, albeit a budget one, but quite modern: 4 GB of RAM, a Mediatek MT6750T processor with eight Cortex-A53 cores, a Mali-T860 video accelerator and an internal 64 GB storage.

As a rule, the budget segment of gadgets is equipped with 2 GB of RAM, so here we have a clear advantage over competing counterparts. In the process of work, the user has access to a little more than 2 GB out of 4, and this is an excellent indicator, so there are simply no problems with a lack of RAM.

Oukitel K6000 Plus 64Gb internal memory, which is enough for ordinary user needs. But even if this volume is not enough, then it can be expanded by installing an external SD-card, up to 256 GB.

Tests

The benchmark results are average when comparing the performance of a smartphone with a similar budget brother. With so much RAM, some "Snapdragon" of the 800 series would obviously be useful, but then the price would definitely exceed the 15 thousand rubles mark.

Here we have a completely stable and acceptable frame rate in most modern games, but in serious and "heavy" applications you have to reset the graphics settings to medium or even minimum values. Otherwise, friezes and numerous lags appear.

As for the interface, everything is perfect here: applications open quickly, tables and icons respond smoothly and no brakes are observed when scrolling. There are also no problems with multimedia and web surfing: everything plays, whistles and puffs, as the developer intended. In addition, even under heavy load on the chipsets, the body of the smartphone does not heat up, which is good news.

Platform

Works Oukitel K6000 Plus on Android 7.0. Reviews of the platform are ambiguous, because the system is still crude, and besides, it is clumsily localized in places, so you should not be surprised to see the foreign speech in the Russian mass.

Stock, even the newest firmware, alas, does not solve the problem, but on specialized resources you can find amateur options that are no worse than the official ones in terms of content, but with normal Russification.

Users in their reviews expressed special gratitude to the manufacturer for the "clean" operating system... A good half of budget gadgets are cluttered with ads and sponsored applications, unlike our hero, where there is no heap of useless pre-installed programs.

Cameras

The smartphone received two cameras. It makes no sense to consider the front 8 megapixel one, because it can be said not: the modest characteristics of the matrix allow you to make only a high-quality avatar, but with grief to talk in half on the video messenger and that's it.

The main camera received a matrix OmniVision 16880 series with a resolution of 16 megapixels. Here we have autofocus, dual LED flash and f2 / 0 lens. Diversity functionality the control interface does not shine - everything is according to the standard and without any original "chips".

The rear camera does a good job of capturing landscapes in the daytime. Of course, there are some problems, like unstable focusing and loss of sharpness at the edges of the image, but in general, the output picture is quite decent.

Shooting features

Close-ups are poorly given to the camera, the reason for this is the indicator of the minimum focus distance, here it is much larger in comparison with other budget counterparts. Therefore, shooting any objects up close is a hassle. At this point, one could close our eyes if it were not for the many negative reviews from book lovers who need a gadget to shoot books, lectures, instructions and other literature.

The quality of pictures in the dark leaves much to be desired, but this is the problem of the entire budget segment, so this part is difficult to write down into obvious disadvantages. The image is obtained with a lot of noise, and in order to get rid of them, you need to turn the noise reduction to the maximum, and this, in turn, is a loss in detail - in general, everything is bad.

Autonomous work

A clear advantage of the device is the capacity of the 6080 mAh battery, in fact, hence the name of the very line of gadgets "Oukitel" came from. The production of lithium-polymer batteries for the brand is carried out by a fairly well-known company from the Middle Kingdom - SCUD Battery Co., Ltd, so there is no need to worry about the quality.

A quite appropriate addition to such a capacious battery is the Pump Express Plus fast charging technology from Mediatek. With its help, the smartphone can be charged to 100% from scratch in a little less than two hours, while with a regular charger you will have to wait at least an hour longer.

Benchmarks

The test results are encouraging: the device turned out to be far ahead, leaving even venerable premium models of well-known brands in the tail. So everything is in order with the autonomy of the smartphone, even despite the gluttonous Android platform.

More specifically, in a mixed mode of use (call, SMS, Internet, 50% screen brightness) the battery lasts for three days. Watching high definition video at 75% brightness will drain your battery in 15 hours. With the maximum possible load with everything and everyone on at 100% screen brightness, the device will last about 6-7 hours.

The results are excellent. A rather mediocre set of chipsets with moderate power consumption also played a significant role here. So the gadget can rightfully be called a long-lived smartphone. Finding such a representative in the budget segment is a great success.

Competitors

Our respondent has not so many analogs. The closest in quality content can be called the Ulefone Power 2 (6050 mAh) and Blackview P2 (6000 mAh) models.

The first is practically identical in its technical characteristics to the K6000 Plus. But it is very difficult to recommend it for purchase, because it has even fewer owners than the Oukitel series. And this directly affects the support of gadgets, that is, you have to wait for firmware updates for years, if you wait at all, as well as warranty repair... And user reviews about the model are far from the most flattering.

But nothing bad can be said about Blackview P2: the device came out in many ways successful and attractive, and the only thing in which it is inferior to the K6000 Plus is in the Android version. Even latest models brands come with stock firmware on OS "Android 6.0", while "Oukitel" has the seventh version of the platform. The manufacturer seems to promise to transfer its gadgets to the "seven", but, as often happens with the Chinese budget segment, we are waiting, but will we wait?

Summarizing

On the market of mobile gadgets, you can find smartphones that reassure their users with some unusual "chips", aesthetic and thoughtful design, providing unusual solutions that are really interesting to deal with, and so on and so forth.

The K6000 Plus model cannot be attributed to them in any way. The manufacturer positions the device as workhorse, which, alas, is not able to please the owner with all the listed advantages, and does not seek to do this. Whatever one may say, but before us is a budget device, and delights can be found in the premium and mid-price segment.

From the K6000 Plus, in fact, only one thing is required - long and stable operation, and the device copes with this with a bang. One of the main "applications for success" - excellent autonomy - is fully implemented and works 100%. In addition, the set of chipsets is quite enough for lightning-fast operation of the interface and for launching most modern gaming applications.

As a fly in the ointment, a mediocre and poorly calibrated matrix acts here, but perhaps an unprepossessing sound, but a good half of the models of the budget segment suffer from this misfortune, so there is no need to sort out too much.

In we get the following: if you want a smartphone "for the soul" - pass by, but if you need a moderately productive long-lived gadget without claims to appearance with multimedia as well as an enviable time autonomous work, the K6000 Plus will be a great helper for you.

The advantages of the model:

  • excellent autonomy;
  • a good set of chipsets;
  • support for all Russian communication protocols, including LTE;
  • platform "Android 7.0".

Flaws:

  • disgusting factory calibration of the display matrix;
  • poor sounding (cacophony at maximum volume).

The estimated cost of a smartphone is about 11,000 rubles.

Back in 2015, Oukitel released their new long-lived smartphone "K6000", which, as you might guess, had a 6000mAh battery. The following year, the manufacturer announced the "successor" - the K6000 Pro, with slightly improved characteristics and all with the same 6 thousand milliampere battery. And, of course, the Chinese did not stop at this model, and now we have the third smartphone in the lineup - the K6000 Plus, all with the same (although not the same) 6080mAh battery and still with slightly improved technical characteristics relative to the previous model ... And although I did not mention it, these smartphones are considered one of the top-end smartphones from Oukitel, which can be understood by the price. Whether the smartphone lives up to any expectations, I will try to reveal in the review.

So, in order not to be verbose, I made a small table comparing the main characteristics of all three smartphones of this line:

As you can see from the table, with each new model smartphones have added the amount of memory, both operational and built-in, as well as updated camera modules. The rest of the changes, even including the processor, are not so striking. But, in general, the K6000 Plus quite "keeps the bar" for 2017 - compared to competitors in terms of characteristics, it looks normal. Although, of course, for the money that is asked for it, there are smartphones from more eminent manufacturers, Xiaomi, for example, who already have better performance, not to mention the credibility of the company. Nevertheless, there are a lot of smartphones and the K6000 Plus, again, looks competitive.

Packaging and delivery set

Oukitel K6000 Plus comes in the most standard orange box for the company, and no frills - there is only the Oukitel logo on the front side and a sticker with characteristics on the back. Directly the same box and the same budget models of the "C" series, differing only in materials and "finishing" inside. And if everything looks budget there, then here, in principle, it is appropriate - the smartphone is in a plastic bag in a recess and lies on some kind of "envelope" with a special tongue to facilitate the extraction of the smartphone. At the bottom of the envelope there are two compartments with all the complete set.

The smartphone in the same bag comes with a transparent silicone case, and in addition to paper documentation such as a warranty card, a brief instruction, an additional film on the screen and paper clips for removing the slot for SIM and MicroSD cards located in the envelope, the box contains:
- USB charging for 5/7/9 / 12V and 2.0A
- MicroUSB cable
- OTG cable
For complete happiness, as they say, only some headphones are missing. And, fortunately, too, they were not here :)

More details.
The fact that the smartphone is "pulled out" of the box already with the case I mentioned, but there is nothing special - it is the most common, similar to one dollar on Ali is almost for any smartphone. Nevertheless, the presence thereof in the configuration is nice.

Since the battery is declared for more than 6000mAh, then you cannot do without fast charging. Unfortunately, nowhere is it stated whether any special technology for fast charging is used here, but only special ones are mentioned. Charger 12V / 2A. More precisely - myACT Fast Charger. One of a kind, since on the Internet for this request, only this charge can be found.
UPD: apparently, Mediatek Pump Express Plus technology is used here

MicroUSB cable and OTG are the most common, both white. Like everything else - the color of the smartphone.

Well, it's a sin not to show the manual. The most interesting thing is to read safety precautions in broken Russian.

Design and detailed inspection.

First, a small digression - a shipping film with the Oukitel logo is glued out of the box on the smartphone. It is matte, so without removing it, using a smartphone is not very convenient, and not very pleasant - it can be said to be rough and spoils the colors a lot. Under it is already the most ordinary film, however, there are claims to it - it is a little smaller screen and glued imperfectly. But the film-film, and behind ... it too :). But here there are designations of slots, controls, there are some warnings and, most importantly, there is also a sticker with IMEI "pits".

Now let's move on to the smartphone itself. Externally and in white, Oukitel K6000 Plus can resemble many smartphones. And, as for me, it is in white that it most resembles some model from Meizu, for example. But all these similarities are only due to the oval Home button under the display. It is worth noting that outwardly it is the main difference between the K6000 Plus and last year's models, it was not there at all.

Photo:

Personally, I like this design. The white color of the case is in good harmony with the screen. Although one cannot fail to notice that along the perimeter of the display there is a black frame of not the smallest sizes. But it still looks quite harmonious. But about back cover one can argue - it is the color of "gold". I don't really understand why make a white version of a smartphone with only one color of the back cover - gold. I doubt that many people like this combination, while most often you can see the combination of white and gray (light gray). But there is nothing to add something other than what Oukitel most often offers in this color as well. Unless - the shade of this "gold" is quite difficult to convey correctly, but in the photo below it is most of all true.

In general, the design is subjective, so I will continue - in the upper part of the front panel there is a standard front camera, earpiece, proximity and light sensors and ... an LED indicator.

More detailed photos:

At the bottom is only a mechanical home button, which is also a fingerprint scanner.

Let's walk along the edges. Only the audio jack is located on the upper edge:

On the bottom is a MicroUSB for charging, a mono speaker and a microphone.

A volume rocker and a power button are placed on the right side. The buttons are pressed clearly, they do not play.

The slot for SIM cards (or for SIM and MicroSD cards) is located on the left side. Usually this "carriage" does not always fit well and tightly into the body of smartphones, but there is no such drawback. Fits inward with a click and snug fit.

Finishing the external inspection, the turn of the back cover. I already wrote about its not the most standard color, so it remains to consider it in more detail. In the upper part, as usual, there is a slightly protruding rear camera peephole and a single LED flash. It is strange that despite its thickness (which is 9.6mm), the smartphone still has a protruding camera, about one millimeter. The steel rim, of course, will protect it, but nothing will protect the camera completely from scratches. Also, only a single flash is a little upsetting.

There is nothing interesting at the bottom of the back cover. But as you can see in the photo above, the smartphone has two plastic inserts at the top and bottom for better signal reception.

***

Build quality and materials the smartphone has a good one. These plastic inserts do not protrude anywhere and fit snugly against the body. Upon a very careful examination, I did not find any defects in the case, which, as a rule, are often found in such smartphones (for example, small factory scratches or small chips). All in all, the K6000 Plus looks like a solid smartphone right out of the box, as it should be for a smartphone for over $ 150.

As for convenience use - despite the rather large size and steel case, which does not at all contribute to convenience, like the same soft-touch or ordinary plastic, the smartphone lies well in the hand. Largely due to the beveled edges. But, of course, not everyone will be comfortable using a smartphone with a 5.5 "screen, although this is more a matter of habit. Another photo in hand, to estimate the size:

Display.

Yes, as I mentioned just above, the smartphone has a 5.5 "display with FHD (1080x1920) resolution. The characteristics indicate an IPS matrix, the manufacturer of the matrix is AU Optronics.

The screen made a good impression on me. When you turn it on for the first time, you most often immediately notice some deviations, such as too cold shades or a faded image. But here, despite the fact that manufacturers continue to put almost black wallpapers on the desktop, which will show themselves well only on Amoled matrices, it was immediately obvious that the image is quite pleasant and without significant distortion.

In this photo, little is visible, but this is the maximum that the camera has achieved :)

As for the brightness, the maximum is enough to see something on the screen in bright sun, but the minimum is not surprising. I would even say blinds :)

As for the viewing angles, then I liked the smartphone just when I first turned it on, because it is easiest to determine the quality of the display against a black background. Even with a strong deviation, the colors are practically not inverted. It can be seen that IPS.

First turn on. OS.

The smartphone has almost latest version- Android 7.0. Of course, it was not without a pre-installed launcher from Oukitel. All it changes is removes the application menu and redesigns the multitasking window. And if the first is easily removed by installing a third-party launcher, for example Google Start, then the second does not change. But this is not so important.

Out of the box preinstalled apps a little - only QRCode Scan and Youtube can be highlighted separately. I am very glad that the Chinese have decided not to stuff the smartphone with many regional and, most often, non-working applications. As for the screenshots (and subsequent ones) - the font on them does not seem to be anti-aliased, but in reality everything is fine. It's just that screenshots have to be reduced in size for better display.

In the paragraph "about the phone", the manufacturer decided to add information about some of the characteristics of the smartphone. Of course, all the added items were left without Russification. As you can see in the screenshots below, the smartphone has the firmware dated April 8, and from 64GB of internal memory a little less than 54GB is available. Operational on average is free just over two gigabytes.

Even for those who first encountered the seventh android, there is nothing particularly new to tell. This version looks almost no different from the sixth and fifth versions, except for a more "flat" design. There are many differences at the software level, which also make little sense to mention. But I can show the easter egg of this version - a game like "Pokemon Go", which is activated in the same way as in other versions of the system. Once launched, a small cat icon will appear to indicate that the game is running. Further, it is not clear what is happening, since there are no instructions or details in the system. But to continue, you need to open the notification curtain and in its settings you can add the "Easter Egg" icon. After adding, open the curtain back and click on the icon - the choice of "bait" will appear. We choose something and now all that remains is to wait.

After a while, a cat will appear in the notification curtain :)
From my own experience - after collecting more than 200 cats (and as far as I know, there are at least 1000 of them here), their viewing starts to lag very much. The list stops responding and eventually closes with an error. And I have had this for almost a year. But, maybe there is no such problem, only it will take a long time to check it out - cats do not come so often :)

The same mistake

On Nexus 5X with 7.1.2

Not the most helpful information, but maybe someone was interested :)

Let's continue. In addition to the fact that not everything is normal with Russification, it is enough to look here:

In the settings, you can still find interesting items. For example, a fingerprint scanner. In the latest versions of android, they added software support for this function, so the Chinese did not have to do / search third party application to customize it. Everything is done in a standard way and already through the most common smartphone settings:

It works well. It works very quickly, although sometimes it happens that it is not the first time. But here it depends more on the fact that you need to get used to it and its location, since it is not always possible to put your thumb normally on the button right under the center of the screen. To unlock, by the way, the button can be pressed or touched. But it is more tactile to press, and not just to touch, so there is confidence that you put your finger there :)

But what pleasantly surprised me was that the manufacturer decided to strain a little and add a couple of interesting features with this scanner. For example, you can put the action "back" on the scanner, and it will be triggered by the usual (and any) touch of the button. That is, the scanner will fix any typo, not a specific one. You can also set the camera shutter release to hold your finger on the scanner (without pressing) or, for example, to disconnect a call. More details about all this can be found in the screenshots below. Not to say that there are many functions, but they are really applicable in everyday use.

Another interesting feature in the settings is the LED indicator setting. And it seems that when you first view it, there is nothing useful in its settings, but this is not so - with missed notifications, the diode blinks very strongly in blue. In the same way as with a low charge (15% and below), the red diode blinks. And since it is really bright, it can be annoying and interfere with using your smartphone at night, for example. It's good that the manufacturer took care of this. Not everywhere this is, as far as I know.

What does an LED look like?

Here, the developers have added another interesting and useful function- screen recording directly from the notification curtain, with one touch. Think, this function does not need special details. The recording quality matches the displayed picture. In general, this is a very good surprise - far from everywhere you see the opportunity to make a screen recording so easily. The only pity is that there are no settings, and the video is recorded without sound.

Another thing that I would like to show in the system is the multi-window mode. It may seem that it was added for a very long time, but, in fact, it fully started working with Android 7.0. It may also seem that it is not needed at all, but it is very convenient, as I have seen myself. To start it, you need to click once on the context menu button and a list of recent ones will open. running applications(right there, by the way, you can see the changes made by the launcher from Oukitel - they added a semblance of "Clean Master" a "), then just hold down the desired application with your finger and drag it to the top of the screen.

Thus, you can safely watch, for example, a video, and at the same time search for something on the Internet. There are many applications you can think of.

As for updates, Oukitel does not stand out in terms of timely updates, and even after installing the seventh version of the android, they are unlikely to remember the K6000 Plus when new versions are released (not counting 7.1+). However, the smartphone has special application to check for updates and you can expect a couple of patches. In the settings of the app, you can even adjust the frequency of checking for updates.

So, what can be said about the operation of the smartphone in general - during the time of use (almost two weeks), I did not have a single application crash. Although on similar smartphones the same Google play... But due to the fact that this is practically the last version of the android, where things are better with optimization for such smartphones than on previous versions, then everything works quite smoothly and quickly. Personally, I just didn't like the preinstalled launcher and the lack of on-screen buttons, to which I’m trite used to. The rest of the system here, surprisingly, without serious "jambs", not counting the clumsy Russification.

Tests.

This is probably already a rather boring aspect in smartphones. Of course, every year the capacity is increasing and increasing, but there were no demanding applications and games, and still are not. Therefore, I will be brief: the smartphone has an 8-core 64bit MTK processor MT6750T with 4 Cortex A53 cores at 1.5GHz and 4 at 1.0GHz. As you can see in the photo comparison of characteristics, the processor in the K6000 Plus is not far from last year's model, where the MT6753 was installed on the same eight cores with a frequency of 1.3GHz. The main difference lies in the improved video accelerator - our "hero of the review" in his role is the Mali-T860MP2 with a core frequency of 650MHz. Well, all this is complemented, of course, by 4GB of DDR3 RAM.

And now the tests.

More details in Antutu:

AIDA64 for details:

Below in the screenshot you can see information about Wi-Fi. As you can see, the 5GHz band is not supported.

Touching on the topic of wireless networks - Wi-Fi works flawlessly. There are no problems with speed either.

With GPS, everything is also fine - in an apartment in 20-30 seconds a smartphone finds 8-9 satellites, on the street there are twice as many. At the first launch, the location was determined for a long time, after that everything was fast.

Now let's continue with performance tests - 3DMark (two main tests for FHD):

Geekbench, where you can compare performance with other processors. You can see that this MT6750T is somewhere on the level of quite old top-end Qualcomm "ohms. Which, again, does not prevent these" old "processors from being up to date.

The CPU performs better:

Epic Citadel on three graphics settings:

Frankly, this is far from a top-end filling, and for almost $ 200 you can find options on almost top-end processors from the same MTK. But just as bluntly, such options will be redundant. Here the filling is quite consistent with the smartphone and there are no problems in terms of performance and should not happen in the near future.

Camera.

In the previous models of this series, interpolation was used, and this alone did not make it possible to evaluate the quality. And we have to admit that the very use of interpolation does not say anything good. But in the case of the K6000 Plus, things seem to be better - the rear camera is a 16MP OmniVision16880 module, while the front camera is 8MP Hynix Hi-846. The main camera module is impressive. Although, we all know that most often it is not about hardware, but about optimization and software filling. The photos themselves depend on the skill of the hands, but this is no longer the topic :)

The first thing I pay attention to when turning on the camera on Chinese devices is the same application with incomprehensible settings, such as some incomprehensible how stabilizations work, ZSD and the rest. It's still not clear to me what the problem is to set "Google Camera" with a normal interface as the main camera application. Unless it is forbidden by Google itself, but I do not know this, so I will not undertake to talk in more detail. Better to continue - yes, there is exactly that incomprehensible camera. But, surprisingly (although not so big, because the manufacturer has made his own changes in many places, as it turns out), the application here looks somewhat different from others and the interface is much more convenient. Actually, everything can be seen in the screenshots below. Where you can even notice the presence of a manual mode.

The settings are the same as before. I recommend disabling all unnecessary and unknown functions.

Video settings:

And there is also a set of filters :)

***

Examples. I will not be verbose - with good lighting, especially in clear weather, the photos come out good. When approaching, almost no oversharp is noticeable, which is what most suffer Chinese smartphones... There are no problems with color reproduction either. But with overexposures - there is. In the cell, I never found HDR mode, and without it you will have to look either at overexposed areas, or at darkened ones. Otherwise, the pictures were surprising. Below I will leave a link to download the originals, but for now I will show some examples (here they are reduced, since full sizes are not loaded):

Artificial lighting:

Macro examples:

But if in the daytime the pictures could surprise, then in the dark, alas, nothing good came of it. There is a lot of noise, it is difficult to focus and there is a lot of “soap”. Although from a distance it looks more or less.

And nothing came of the flash. With autofocus, it seems like a good photo will come out, but in the end it is very overexposed. Timings do not match. You can only hope for a patch.
For clarity, here is a photo of what came out (and, frankly, it is far from "good"):

And here is what it showed in front of the picture:

Yes, I would like to say a few words about video shooting - a lot of where it is indicated about the presence of 4K video, which is logical, because the module supports it. But in the quality selection settings (exactly the place where you have to choose between High and Good quality), the maximum resolution can be obtained by selecting "Good quality", which is 1920x1080. Purely logically, " High quality"Should be that way 4K, but here it is 720p. As for the quality of this very video - here the situation, for some reason, is very different from the situation with the photo part. During the day, videos come out very blurry, and you can also notice that there are problems with the frame rate. At night - everything is the same, but several times worse. However, instead of this, it is enough just to say that the video is recorded here in 3gp. Lived :)

Example one.

Example two. In the dark.

Battery.

Let's start with the promotional posters: 6080mAh non-removable SCUD battery.

Fast charging that can charge your smartphone 100% in 100 minutes:

And although everything is fine on paper, the situation here is the same as with cameras. So, almost the main thing is optimization. I already had several Chinese smartphones, including Oukitel models, where there was one big problem - a strong discharge in standby mode. Here, fortunately, there is no such thing. In 16 hours with Wi-Fi on and mobile communication only 6% of the charge was used.

And at the time of writing the review, the smartphone has been working in the same mode (Wi-Fi and communication) for the fifth day, and this is with the remaining 40 percent. So I can safely say that there are no problems with power consumption in standby mode.

As for the active mode of use - here the smartphone was able to squeeze out almost 7 hours of continuous screen operation at maximum brightness. All the time Wi-Fi was turned on and the connection worked. I used my smartphone for a variety of purposes: from watching videos on Youtube to checking mail. As a result of such an intense load, the smartphone worked for more than a day and this is a very good result. Plus, I doubt many people stare at their smartphone screens seven hours a day.

And yes, the manufacturer also did not pass this item by and add a special power saving mode, which is activated when the battery is low. In this mode, only a couple of functions are available, and they are related only to communication - dialing a number, messages and selecting a contact from a contact book. I saw a similar thing on some Samsung, although it was much more useful there thanks to the Amoled screen. Nevertheless, here, too, this mode helps to conserve power by turning off all unnecessary processes.

Conclusion.

Let me summarize.

Of the advantages of a smartphone, I can single out:
- good display quality
- presence of LED indicator
- good optimization coupled with 7.0 android
- 4 / 64GB, that's more than enough
- nevertheless, the scanner is well implemented here
- sound. Not "as out of a bucket"
- of course, battery life and fast charging
- loud earpiece and no communication problems

Neutral:
- quality of materials and workmanship
- weight and dimensions
- wireless networks
- performance (it's enough)
- price

Did not like:
- camera. The photos are good during the day, but not at night. The video is mediocre, with a flash problem
- bad Russification. But it's bearable
- a small number of sensors

Well ... using a smartphone I managed to highlight everything that I summarized above. The smartphone really good display, which is not surprising for its cost, but it is also not worth taking it for granted, because the Chinese can still be smart. This is exactly what they did with the firmware - they added a couple of useful features, such as gestures for a scanner or one-touch screen recording. And to add to all this is a good multimedia component. Probably, this phrase best describes a smartphone - everything is fine with sound here, which, although I did not mention in the review, but which pleasantly surprised me; good filling that copes with all tasks; well, and the battery - 7 hours of screen operation in active mode do not even need comments.
I didn't like the camera here the most. All she can do is take good photos in good lighting. The manufacturer tried to customize the application, but apart from the interface, nothing has changed. As a result, there are no normal videos, no photos with flash, not to mention photos in low light conditions. Otherwise, much to my surprise, I cannot say that the smartphone has serious disadvantages. At least I didn't find them.

Of course, for that kind of money, more proven brands like Xiaomi can participate in choosing a smartphone, and Oukitel is unlikely to be able to compete with them. Nevertheless, this smartphone may be of interest, but in its own way. So I hope the review is helpful :)
