Apple is expected to announce three new smartphones at the Steve Jobs Theater on Tuesday. On Saturday, reliable information appeared for the first time ( developer Stephen Troughton Smith discovered it in the final build of iOS 11 leaked to the Web) on how Apple will name its new products: iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.
The first two will outwardly resemble the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus (except for replacing the aluminum case with a "sandwich" of a metal frame and glass back panel). The third model will have a screen that occupies the entire front panel of the smartphone; the width of the fields will be only a few millimeters, only in the upper part there will be an opaque "inset" with cameras and sensors.
The screen, for the first time in the history of Apple smartphones, is made using OLED technology. Such displays do not have a separate backlight, they glow in different colors, the elements directly constituting the matrix - organic light-emitting diodes. Due to this color is more saturated, black pixels are truly black (they are simply turned off to obtain black), and power consumption is generally less than that of LCDs.

Most of the innovations will be in the flagship iPhone X.
