The beaches of Haa Alifa are perfectly white clean sand and a shallow transparent azure sea. Since all the resorts of the atoll occupy entire islands, the beaches are the property of hotels. Free sun loungers, umbrellas, showers and toilets are available to guests. The straits between the islands in Haa Alif Atoll are much wider and shallower than in the rest of the Maldives, so the underwater currents are almost invisible, and completely beginners can dive.

One of the most popular scuba diving spots is located off Filadhoo Island - near its shores in the 1960s. the ship sank. Now the ship, lying at a depth of 14 m, is a paradise for corals, generously stuck to its metal frame. Sea bass, snappers, yellow-tails scurry between the portholes, and stingrays, like planes, one by one "patrol" the rusty hulk. If you are lucky, you can see reef sharks.

To the northeast of Ihavandu Island is another top diving location - shallow tila (sunken island). It is home to huge stingrays, soft corals and other marine life. Some parts of the thila have projections that are inhabited by lobsters and lionfish. And in small caves you can see the famous puffer fish.
