Design In the case of Lumia it is difficult to talk about the design of a single model. There is a general concept of the appearance of all smartphones with small individual features: sharper corners for older models, more rounded shapes for younger devices of the line. The camera button in the Lumia 535 was abandoned - now it remains only in the most expensive models, whose photographic abilities are brought to the fore. On the bottom is a standard micro-USB connector, and on the top is a headphone jack.
The rear panel is removable, hiding the battery, slots for two SIM cards and a place for a microSD flash drive.
Screen A couple of years ago, a 5-inch screen seemed like a pointless excess, and such smartphones themselves were called "shovels". Now 5 inches is the norm, and not only for flagships. Of course, it's not just a matter of getting used to - the designers also took part, who managed to reduce the bezels around the display so that big screen has become inscribed in a fairly compact case.

Hardware The smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset with a 4-core processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz. In the world of Android, such hardware is suitable for the simplest smartphones and means only one thing - brakes! In the case of Windows Phone, the power of the filling is enough for smooth rendering of the interface and fast operation of any application software. It, of course, will not pull games, but as for the browser, mail, instant messengers and, most importantly, quick switching between them, here the Lumia 535 proved to be much better than the green robot.
The RAM in the smartphone is 1 GB - twice as much as in the previous "Lumias" of the same class. Flash storage on board is not very large - 8 GB, of which about a third is occupied by system services. This is enough to install desired applications and even download an offline package of HERE maps, and for music and movies you will have to install a microSD flash drive - the smartphone supports cards up to 128 GB.
You can insert two SIM cards into a smartphone, but there is still only one radio module in it - like in 99% of other dual SIM devices. This usually means that during a conversation on one number, the second one drops out of the network and cannot be reached. The manufacturer came up with what he calls Smart technology Dual SIM, which actually consists in setting up a "cross" forwarding between two numbers in case of unavailability. This can be done in any phone, but here everything is extremely simplified: you don’t even need to enter numbers, because the device already knows them. At the same time, it is necessary, of course, to understand that cellular operators charge for redirection money per minute.
The battery in the Lumia 535 is replaceable, with a capacity of 1905 mAh. Due to the economical processor, the smartphone can last from one to two days, depending on your attachment to social networks. If very briefly: it will live until the evening for sure, but before going to bed it is better to put it on charge.

At first, the Windows Marketplace often came across simple ones, not always functional applications, sometimes with a poorly thought out interface.
However, now all the major developers have joined the platform. And this means that the vast majority of programs that must be installed are here: instant messengers, social network clients, readers, banking applications, train schedules, weather forecasts, and everything. And the most famous and expected games are released immediately for all platforms, including Windows Phone.
In addition to standard applications that can be found on any smartphone on Windows Phone, Lumia 535 carries several branded programs. For example, offline HERE Maps and HERE Drive+ navigator are one of the strongest advantages of Lumia smartphones over all other smartphones on the planet.
