Of course, our software industry is still underdeveloped, but the perception of the weakness of the Russian software industry is also caused by a low awareness of domestic developments, as well as their insufficient implementation.

In preparing this article, we interviewed about a hundred users and experts of the computer market in order to determine the ten best domestic products. About half of the respondents could not recall all ten programs, and some limited themselves to only two or three names. Nevertheless, in total, about fifty domestic products were indicated. The absolute leadership belonged to the following products: 1C: Accounting, FineReader from ABBYY, Kaspersky Anti-Virus and PROMT translator, which were indicated in more than 90% of responses. Other products were not so popular - the remaining seats were shared by 15 companies that received approximately the same number of votes. We list them in alphabetical order.

It seems to us that all the products presented below are proof of the consistency and prospects of the development of Russian software. It should not be forgotten that the future of domestic software largely depends on the Russian buyer, who votes for this or that software with his wallet. Nobody says that you need to buy a bad product only out of patriotism, but you should not lose sight of the best domestic developments, which in most cases will cost you cheaper than foreign ones.

1C: Accounting 7.7

"1C: Accounting" - probably the most popular product on the Russian market - is found in almost all the answers to the above survey. This is a universal program for the mass purpose of accounting automation.
