To begin with, I needed quality headphones for my computer. By the quality of headphones, I mean, first of all, high-quality sound and, secondly, the reliability and durability of the structure. Naturally with a minimal budget.

After a long and painstaking slave, such as browsing through a dozen other models, reading hundreds of reviews, selecting a price, I settled on this model. And as it turned out, he was right. All I needed was there. The sound is very high quality, the reliability of the design is simply amazing.
Unfortunately, I cannot convey the sound quality and listening experience to you through the video. But you can believe my great experience that the sound is superb! And if you trust me and gain this model, then I give you my word - you will definitely not be disappointed. The bass is smooth and soft. The sound is spacious, warm. Noise isolation of the headphones from external sounds is very good - little is heard from the external noise in the headphones.
Well, I described the sound as I could, now about the design. Headphones themselves full size... Not small, not big - that's what you need. After reading hundreds of reviews, I realized that Chinese headphones are mostly flimsy and unreliable in design. This is expressed in tearing off and bending the headphones themselves in the middle (on the jumper) or tearing off one of their "ears" or even a wire.





This model is protected from these factors and features due to its design. They can be easily bent in the middle and nothing will happen to them, as you can see. The earbuds are finished with artificial leather, which is very pleasant to the touch. The earbuds are universal in size and adapt themselves to the size of any head.



Another defect in most headphones is the wire tearing or even pulling out. This is especially true when a person is sitting with headphones at the computer and suddenly gets up and forgets to take off the headphones. I think this is familiar to many. Look at this high-quality wire with protection against fractures - to tear it off, you need to attach more than a dozen kilograms. Hundreds of millions of people have long been unable to imagine their life without music. Every day you can see men and women on the road using headphones to listen to their favorite songs. All this, of course, is great, but, unfortunately, the headset breaks down very, very often. It is for this reason that many users ask one question: how to make do-it-yourself headphones at home? The question is quite relevant, since in all the variety of available models you can only rely not on yourself.

We make a headset for listening

Where should you start? In order to understand how to make headphones with your own hands, we recommend that you refer to the following instructions:

  • Purchase an output of a type that will fully meet the requirements of the audio source jack ( mobile device or computer). Today one of the most common types can be distinguished - miniJack. The diameter of such a pin is either 6.3 mm or 3.5 mm. The first is used mainly in stationary home appliances, and the second - in mobile portable. But let's not forget that there is an exception for every rule.
  • Now remove the housing cover on the purchased plug. Next, pass a very strong and high-quality cable through the hole in this cover, which should have four cores.
  • Then locate the post on the surface of the plug that is used to secure the wire. This stand is equipped with a special hole. Solder half of the wires in the cable to this hole. There will be two conductors left. Solder them to two small pins. Also, put special small tubes for insulation on them in advance.
  • Then wrap the wire with electrical tape and secure the wrapped section in the rack.
  • Close the plug and use the most common ohmmeter, which needs to check the device for short circuits (short circuits).
  • Get two small speakers with the same diameter. The resistance of each of them should be eight ohms. Install these speakers in special round resonator housings. For this operation, you can use small plastic jars. Next, connect in series one 30 ohm resistor.
  • Now take care of the headband. Make it from a metal ruler. Place and fix the emitters on this structure. You can do this step in several different ways, for example, you can use a nut and screws.

Important! Please note that sharp protruding parts may harm your health in the future, so such elements should be avoided.

  • Now attach two wires to each radiator. Connect the first of these wires to the post of your plug, and the second to one of its small contacts.

Now you know how to assemble headphones with your own hands, but is it possible to achieve the same result in another way?

Making a new headset from a broken old one

Nobody forbids you to use another method to create a new device. To carry out the work, you will need the following tools:

  • Sharp scissors.
  • Broken headphones.
  • Soldering Station.
  • Insulating tape.

Important! The result is only guaranteed if at least one of the headphone speakers is in working order.

To carry out work, you need to be guided by the following instructions:

  • Use a sharpened blade or sharp scissors to remove the plastic from your plug.
  • Use the same sharp object to strip the insulation off the wires and use a soldering iron to connect the wires to the corresponding connectors on the plug.

Important! Pay attention to the fact that optimal signal transmission will only occur over the soldered wires, as "twisting" will lead to the fact that you will lose the useful part of the signal. It should also be borne in mind that during the union, the pairs have the same color.

  • If the defect that caused the headset to malfunction occurs inside the structure of the device, it should be replaced with another one. Use another broken pair to do this. If the wires are for any reason unsoldered from the membrane, use the soldering iron again.

Important! Be careful not to mix up the left and right speakers while working.

If all actions were performed according to the instructions, then it remains only to check the performance of the new device on some sound source (laptop, PC, mobile phone or tablet).

Now you know how to make two headphones for your phone different ways... Take on the work only if you are confident in your abilities. Read the instructions carefully and do not neglect the safety measures.

First, take a piece of press board or hard cardboard 130X130 mm in size. A hole is cut out in it and the head is glued into it (Fig. 1).

Then in the sponge-ear cushion cut out (or pluck out) a recess for the speaker housing (Fig. 3), and in the sponge-cushion (Fig. 2) make an oval-shaped hole. Its inner edge is cut from the side adjacent to the ear.

The lead wires are soldered and, if necessary, an additional resistor, the resistance of which is selected experimentally, depending on the power of the amplifier. Several holes are punched in the cardboard panel and wires are passed through them.
The surfaces of the sponges and panels are covered with adhesive and allowed to dry. After that, glue is applied again and all three parts are connected together, having previously passed the wires outside. The finished earphone must be placed under the press for several hours until the glue dries. To avoid short circuits that can damage the ULF, pass the wires through the sponge using an invisible hair clip.

The second telephone is made in the same way.

The headband is a piece of rubber tape about 5 cm wide (it is also sold at the pharmacy).
A decorative pad is glued to the outer side of the ear cushion, under which a headband tape will be laid (Fig. 4).

Now it remains to solder a three-wire connecting wire with a connector to the heads' terminals, and the stereo phones are ready to work.
You can connect the phones with a steel tape or use a ready-made case from old worn-out headphones.

Rubbish, which is a pity to throw out, then this article is just for you. All the accessories were given to the author of the homemade product completely free of charge, and for this reason, you will only win.

Once the author had Explay headphones and stereo headset Bluetooth Prolife BT55. In the photo you can see that the headphones are missing some of the wires, and the headset made wheezing sounds, that is, the speakers were completely defective.

First of all, we will analyze everything. We didn't even need a screwdriver for this operation, because all fasteners are ordinary latches.


You need to remove the rest of the wires from the headphones, and unsolder the speakers from the headset and remove the battery for a while. We do this in order to be able to get the wiring, it is located in the headphone case.

As a result of the manipulations done from the headset, there is only a block with buttons and internal content.


Next, we need to attach the block with buttons to the headphone case we have. This is very easy to do.

After the cover has been removed, you can see that the space under it is identical in diameter to the existing button block.

The last task at this stage is just to remove the wiring.




After the internal contents have been separated, we process the entire body so that it matches the size of the overlay.






Let's try this case on the case of the existing headphones.

Next, you need to unsolder the mini-usb socket intended for charger and the author figured out how to make a small adapter from this socket to the socket that previously belonged mobile phone nokia.

It turned out that the socket fits perfectly into the small hole that was previously intended for the wire.




Next, you need to make a small hole for the microphone using a drill.

After installing the board in its place and fixing it and related parts in place with hot glue, what you can see in the photo came out.


This photo is a front view. Here the author made a slight mistake. It's just that when he drilled holes for the microphone, it turned out that he slightly touched the body with the cartridge.

As soon as the glue has frozen, we immediately attach the speaker itself with a soldering iron, and then close the case.

Well, finally everything is soldered and you can snap the case. Now we will install the foam rubber pads in place and set the charge in order to conduct a check.

Checking it shows us that the indicator lights up red, which means everything is working.
