Workstation "Orion Pro" is a software package for the ISO "Orion" hardware and software complex, which implements security alarm systems, access control and management, security video surveillance, automatic fire protection systems, coupled with engineering systems of objects - the system is quite interesting. Once I had to face it and during the installation some nuances arose, which will be discussed in this note.

We have two PCs.

Installed on one Windows Server(it will be used as a server, respectively), and on the second, the usual user Windows (operator / security PC).

The first thing to do is to insert the keys with Orion licenses into the PC and download the program itself from the site.

1. Installing the server part "Orion pro"

On the server, install "Orion Pro" by checking the box when prompted to install MS SQL Server(only if MS SQL was not installed before). The installer itself will download and configure MS SQL Server and no action is required.

All other settings can be left as default.

It is better to immediately set with the properties of the server, monitor, server management, etc. run as administrator by default.

Checking the connection to the server. To do this, run "Server Management" (default password is 73173100) and the window should show "Connection: Established".
