As you know, today all ASUS Android devices come with ZenUI proprietary graphical shell. We mention this in almost every review. But it so happened that there is still no review of ZenUI itself on the blog. We decided to correct this omission, and devoted this review to reviewing the latest version of the proprietary ASUS graphical shell using the ZenFone 2 smartphone as an example.

Work tables

ASUS ZenFone 2 main screen represented by a 5x4 grid, which is optimal for this screen. However, its size can be changed.

Arrangement of icons on the selected grid.

Double tap on the screen turns off the display. If you want to see a preview of all desktops, you need to pinch with two fingers.

Desktop thumbnails, their location can be changed.

Animation of paging tables. You can change the scroll animation by choosing one of eight preset modes.

Just hold your finger on the screen and get quick access to the main screen menu.

Here you can quickly change the look of your desktops. For example, by installing "live wallpaper" or another set of icons.

A large number of different options for the background of desktops. Can be customized to suit every taste.

In the system settings, it is easy to change the grid and appearance of folders, define access parameters for notifications for applications, set a password for launching applications.

Choose the right font or choose the color of the labels? It's also possible.

« Child mode»Allows you to configure access to a limited range of selected applications, as well as set a time limit for using your smartphone.

The keyboard has several themes and supports continuous input and punctuation by holding your finger on the desired letter.

The keyboard has its own dictionary and predictive input system, as well as many different settings, thanks to which it can change both the appearance of the keyboard (for example, by setting a background image) and customize the ways of interacting with the text.

Another innovation in ZenUI is notification control. The volume control button on the body of the smartphone is responsible for the appearance of a menu in which you can select one of several notification methods. In this section, you can configure the information about which notifications and calls ZenFone 2 will beep.

Working with SIM-cards

In addition, the shell is optimized to work with two SIM cards: when a second SIM is connected, a call button is added. In the SMS sending mode, two buttons are displayed in the same way, which are responsible for sending from a particular SIM card.

Music

You can customize the sound using the built-in equalizer, but its capabilities are inferior to external applications for playing music / video.

The music application can play music by album, artist and folder. Integration with the cloud has been implemented - you can listen to music directly from there.

Gallery

The Gallery displays all the images on the smartphone, sorted by album. You can change the sorting if you want. Snapshots can be edited using the preset menu tools.

Accessories

There are several functional accessories for ASUS Zenfone 2.

The proprietary Zenfone 2 View Cover Deluxe, which protects against shocks and scratches, is installed instead of the back cover, has a built-in NFC and a round window through which a number of notifications are reflected: time, weather, missed calls, photos - with all these applications you can start working without opening the cover.

Zenfone 2 offers an unusual docking station consisting of two halves, as well as a lightweight external battery 10,050 mAh - ASUS ZenPower. And Zenfone 2 will definitely work in conjunction with the ASUS ZenWatch. In addition, the ZenFlash and LolliFlash external flash units are available for photography enthusiasts.

Autonomy

You can choose from four presented modes of battery consumption or customize your own scenario of energy saving. Additionally, you can configure the switching schedule in different modes.

It clearly demonstrates which applications are putting the most strain on the battery.

Camera

In addition to the preset shooting modes with automatic parameters (you can change the depth of field in the frame, remove unnecessary objects from the picture, shoot in the dark), there are also manual mode.

You can use the HDR mode for high-quality images at dusk. To enhance the quality of night shots, there is a special night mode. Super Resolution mode increases the resolution of images and produces more detailed photos. Manual settings offer many options for changing the shooting parameters.

Finally

ASUS ZenUI interface is easy to learn, functional and endowed with numerous tools for visual "sharpening" for user requests. Perhaps not all preinstalled apps suit you specifically, but extra programs you can always hide, leaving only the essentials for yourself.

Among the disadvantages of the shell, one item can be distinguished, which is relevant for the Russian user: part of the help menu (as well as some elements "in the depth" of the interface) did not receive full localization.

We started our acquaintance with the updated Zenfones line with the model. The device has established itself as an excellent mid-price smartphone, combining a beautiful appearance, modern developments and a reasonable price. This time we were lucky to get senior solutions for testing - and ZenFone 5Z.

The novelties could be remembered as the first ASUS Android smartphones, made in the style of Apple iPhone X. Both devices have a similar form factor and design. Even most of the characteristics are the same. The differences concern only the processor used, the amount of RAM and the type of permanent memory. Therefore, it will be curious to compare their forehead to forehead. So let's get started.

Delivery and packaging

ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z smartphones come in small cardboard boxes. The packaging is made in dark blue colors, without color printing and catchy elements: everything is very strict and concise. The information content is minimal.

Since engineering samples of gadgets came to our test, we found only Charger, USB cable and a clip for the SIM card tray. In retail versions, we should additionally expect the ASUS ZenEar Pro headset with spare ear pads, Silicone Case and user documentation.

Appearance, arrangement of elements

Last year, along with the release of the anniversary iPhone X Apple created a fashion for "monobrow" (or more correctly notch), as well as the vertical arrangement of the block of the main cameras. Then this trend was picked up by Android smartphones, of which there are a lot of them now. From the point of view of manufacturers, it is quite logical to use "chips" popular among users. Some people like this approach, but others do not. But it is difficult to ignore him, because it was he who gave impetus for a new milestone in development. mobile devices... It is also worth understanding that if smartphones look very similar in the images, then live and tactilely they are perceived completely differently, since everyone tried to highlight their offspring.

An example of the above are the ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z smartphones. In addition to the features similar to those of the apple device, the new items in many respects resemble the previous devices of the Taiwanese manufacturer. Like the third and fourth generation Zenphones, smartphones are a classic glass-metal-glass sandwich. Two color options are available - silver and dark blue (almost black). In both cases, the devices look and feel very expensive, which is great!

The front and back uses 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass (generation not specified). The metal frame is made of aircraft grade aluminum with a double perimeter bevel and plastic dividers for good performance wireless modules... There is a plastic seal between the glass and the frame.

The back is polished to a shine and has a branded concentric pattern that allows you to accurately identify the manufacturer of the gadgets.

The traditional disadvantage of this design is soiling and slipperiness. But with all this, a complete cover will help, which, moreover, does not hide all the beauty.

The introduction of widescreen displays and the same "mono-brows" made it possible to significantly increase the diagonal of smartphones, as well as to achieve almost framelessness. And there is no need to be afraid of this. Here our players are made in a 6.2-inch format, but in width they are comparable to the usual 5.5-inch models. This allows you to quite comfortably hold them with one hand and easily reach the controls. In addition, there is a specialized mode that can be easily activated by double tapping on the home button. A swipe on the fingerprint scanner brings up the notification curtain. Of course, if you don't like this approach, then you can always connect the second hand. And in this case, it will be much more difficult to drop the slippery device.

90% of the bezels of ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z take up the screen. The frames along the contour are quite small: almost 4 mm on the side, 7.5 mm on the bottom and 9 mm on the top. By the way, ASUS proudly announced at the presentation that their notch is smaller than that of the Apple iPhone X. But this is not at all strange, because there are not all the sensors that the iPhone X has. In our case, it has a built-in earpiece with the event indicator is hidden, front-camera, proximity and light sensors. The "chin" from below could be even lower, since no functional elements are integrated into it, and the control keys are on-screen. But in this case, the price of the product would have increased significantly.

Physical elements are arranged according to the canons of the genre. The power button and volume rocker are located on the right side. They are not serrated, well defined by touch and have a short stroke with a firm pressure. On the left side there is a place for a tray for two Nano-SIM, one of which can be replaced with a microSD memory card. One of the three microphones is also nestled here. Recall that in the junior model the tray is not hybrid, that is, there is no need to choose between the convenience of communication and the drive. What prevented the implementation of the same approach in older models? Below are the following items: 3.5mm audio jack, balanced port USB Type-C, main microphone and multimedia speaker. Fortunately, ASUS has not yet succumbed to another trend and has not abolished the mini-jack. Above, we note another microphone.

On the rear panel of ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z there is a slightly protruding main camera module with a flash under it. Nearby is a fingerprint sensor.

The fingerprint scanner works well and the finger rests on it automatically. There is also face recognition, but without infrared sensors (everything is done by the front camera). As a result, during the day everything works fine, but in low light conditions, difficulties can arise.

The ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z build quality and rigidity are excellent. But if this is not critical for the younger model, then the lack of protection against dust and moisture in the flagship can be safely considered a disadvantage.

Display

Above, we have already noted that the market has been overwhelmed by gigantomania - the growth of diagonals in smartphones. So, the screens of ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z with a diagonal of 6.2 inches have an aspect ratio of 19: 9 and a resolution of 2246 × 1080, which gives a final density of 402 PPI. Even the most keen-eyed will not be able to see individual pixels. In both cases, a Super IPS + matrix with wide color gamut (96% NTSC with DCI-P3 support) is used. The matrix is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass with an excellent oleophobic coating.

By my own feelings, the displays of smartphones are simply wonderful. They have high details, pleasant color reproduction (although in the stock state there is a slight shift towards cold shades), excellent contrast and maximum viewing angles.

In the settings, you can choose a "blue filter", a ready-made color display mode, or adjust everything at your discretion. Moreover, the new Zenphones are able to change the color temperature themselves, depending on the conditions. environment- similarity technology True Tone in Apple devices. Artificial intelligence (AI) is responsible for its work, which is involved here to improve almost everything and everything. This is made possible by modern hardware.

A high maximum brightness level, together with good anti-reflective properties, allows gadgets to feel normal both indoors and outdoors on a sunny summer day. The minimum level is quite comfortable for complete darkness. The light sensor is working properly.

Multi-touch technology properly handles up to 10 simultaneous touches. There is support for proprietary ZenMotion gestures, including calling applications with a pattern on the screen, one-handed operation and double-tap unlock / lock. Work with gloves is possible.

At the end of this section, let's say a few words about "monobrows". It is already clear that this trend will last for a long time, since native notch support will appear in Android P, but for now there are some flaws, although nothing critical. For example, there is little room on either side of the cutout for displaying notification icons. And due to the strong curvature of the screen in some programs, all information may not be displayed (for example, fps in WoT Blitz).

Apps that do not support the aspect ratio in use are displaced to the bottom of the screen, creating approximately equal margins at the top and bottom. Everything would be fine, but at the top there is a strip with right angles, and at the bottom - with rounded corners, which causes visual disharmony. The same applies to the mode, which hides the "notch".

Audio subsystem

The only multimedia speaker is located at the bottom, but the spoken one also plays along with it. The latter, although noticeably weaker, allows a certain stereo effect to be achieved. Moreover, we have a very high level volume. If you do not overcome the mark of 75%, then you can count on good sound: slightly low, balanced high and medium. Otherwise, the high frequencies start to dominate a little. Be that as it may, smartphones made us happy in this regard.

Unfortunately, the ZenEar Pro branded headset did not reach us, so we tested the sound in the headphones using our regular gaming HyperX Cloud (impedance 60 Ohm) and in-ear Vivanco HS 200 WT (impedance 16 Ohm). In both cases, the sound can be called good - music lovers should like it. The settings have an equalizer with a wide range of presets and optimizations, so the sound can be customized to your liking. Declared compatibility with Hi-Res Audio (support for 24-bit / 192 kHz audio) and DTS Headphone: X (virtual multichannel audio). It is also worth noting the presence of Bluetooth 5.0 with support for aptX / aptX-HD, LDAC, SBC and AAC codecs for wireless transmission audio with minimal loss quality. Radio lovers will appreciate the presence of a built-in radio module for recording and listening to FM stations, but only with headphones connected.

Camera

V modern world dual modules in smartphones have become commonplace. Here ASUS is also in trend. Both devices received a main camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels (Sony IMX363 matrix, 1 / 2.55 ", pixel size 1.4 microns), a 6-element lens with an f / 1.8 aperture, an equivalent focal length of 24 mm and an angle of view of 83 °. In the presence of 4-axis optical stabilization and phase autofocus. An additional 8 megapixel module has an aperture of f / 2.2 and a wide angle of view (120 °), but no autofocus. There is also an LED flash. The manufacturer draws attention to the fact that the cameras use advanced AI, which allows you to recognize images and automatically select the appropriate settings for one of 16 scenes, as well as in portrait mode.

Both devices confidently shoot at a level above average, but when they are compared head-on, differences are visible. ASUS ZenFone 5Z delivers slightly better picture detail, as well as a noticeably wider dynamic range... However, the last moment can be easily compensated by the “HDR Auto” mode. Artifacts are noticeable in the footage of the ASUS ZenFone 5, especially in scenes with a lot of small details (branches, leaves, etc.). In this regard, "5Z" looks better. Generally speaking, the new items do an excellent job with daytime shooting, and the resulting footage is not only not a shame to publish on social networks, but can also be immortalized on paper.

As for evening and night shots, both smartphones are in automatic mode raise the exposure, which is why in most cases the frames are overexposed. Therefore, before each shot in difficult conditions, it is better to adjust the exposure yourself. It is worth noting that in low light, ASUS ZenFone 5 takes very noisy photos, while in ASUS ZenFone 5Z noise reduction works more actively. Yes, the photos turn out to be somewhat soapy, but much more pleasant to the eye. Of course, if you dig into the settings, you can squeeze even more. Fortunately, the manufacturer has provided a full manual mode or "PRO", where you can change focus, ISO, shutter speed, white balance and exposure. But most users shoot automatically.

The wide-angle camera takes quite good pictures and will delight you with beautiful landscapes, architecture or group photos. Naturally, it loses to the main camera in terms of detail and is unsuitable for night photosets.

Video recording is possible in 4K Ultra HD format at 60 fps for ASUS ZenFone 5Z and 30 fps for ASUS ZenFone 5. The former can record 1080p up to 240 fps, and the latter - up to 120. We will compare video shooting in 4K resolution. Bitrate ASUS ZenFone 5 [email protected](video - up to 50 Mbps, audio - 96 Kbps) and ASUS ZenFone 5Z [email protected](video - up to 70 Mbps, audio - 96 Kbps). The container is mp4.

In both cases, the picture quality is good, but, as with taking a photo, the "normal five" has a lower dynamic range and at times strange behavior optical stabilization(in places not smoothly, in jerks). Of the roughness of "5Z", you can select 4K shooting at 60 fps - the speed can drop to 53 fps, which is why jumps are visible in the video, as well as constantly jumping autofocus. The sound quality is average, but due to the array of microphones, smartphones do a good job of suppressing ambient noise.

The front camera has an 8MP sensor, fixed focus, f / 2.0 aperture lens and wide-angle (84 °) optics. Selfie lovers won't be disappointed. Naturally, only in the daytime. It is also worth noting the support of the popular portrait mode (the same is true for the main camera) with background blur - it works very well, but only when detecting faces in the frame, although sometimes there are glitches. Also in the presence of various "beauty lotions" designed to smooth out the imperfections of the face. Separately, you can recall ZenMoji, which, by analogy with Apple Animoji, turn your head into an animal for creating animated emoticons. Subjectively, pampering for a couple of minutes, and then forgetting forever. And the recognition of facial expressions is far from the most accurate.

The proprietary software of cameras traditionally has a huge number of possibilities and shooting modes, including the one already mentioned above, completely manual. Finally, we note that you can transfer photoshoot third party applications and shoot in "raw" RAW format, which will please the most experienced users.

Custominterface

ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z are running operating system Android 8.0 Oreo, which is complemented by the latest proprietary ASUS ZenUI 5.0.1 shell.

Traditionally, it has ample opportunities for personalization (themes, icons, fonts, customizing the view of folders, sorting applications in the menu) and excellent functionality. But there are also complaints. In comparison with the shell ASUS ZenUI 4.5, which we saw in, there are some visual flaws. In particular, it feels like they took the rectangular elements of the previous version and added additional rounded pieces to them. And in some places, these curves do not look complete. And the interface is not very well adapted to rounded screens. But given the enviable frequency of updates received, we hope that the manufacturer will correct these annoying moments.

Everything else is good. There is no clutter of software junk: only the most necessary ones are installed from the applications.

You can highlight the "Mobile dispatcher". It can be used to optimize the system, power consumption, restrict the launch of applications, scan for viruses, manage traffic, and the like.

PowerMaster software will help you optimize energy consumption.

The smartphone settings menu is made in light colors. Access to almost all parameters is open: communication capabilities, appearance, screen settings, sound effects, etc.

The modes "Child" and "Simplified" remained in place. The first makes it possible to control the content that the child can use, and the second makes it easier for people with disabilities to work with a smartphone. You can also highlight the auxiliary tool "ZenUI Security", which allows you to set an emergency call number (for speed dialing, you need to press the power button three times) and track the location of the smartphone, including via SMS. Gamers will love the Game Genie, which allows them to stream mobile games to the popular platforms YouTube and Twitch, if someone wants to try themselves as a blogger.

As for the speed of work and the smoothness of the system as a whole, then there is a complete order. Curiously, the youngest feels ASUS model The ZenFone 5 feels a bit more nimble than the ASUS ZenFone 5Z.

Performance and communication capabilities

The hardware stuffing of ASUS ZenFone 5 is represented by one of the latest 14nm SoC-processors - Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 (SDM636). It includes eight 64-bit cores: four Kryo 260 Gold (based on ARM Cortex-A73) and four Kryo 260 Silver (based on ARM Cortex-A53). High-performance cores run at 1.8 GHz, while energy-efficient cores run at 1.6 GHz. Responsible for the graphics are Qualcomm Adreno 509 with support for OpenGL ES 3.2 and OpenCL 2.0, as well as the latest versions of Vulkan and Microsoft DirectX 12 (feature level 11_1). The amount of LPDDR4X RAM is 4 GB, and permanent memory is 64 GB (eMCP). You can expand this space by using microSD memory cards (up to 2 TB), but since the tray is hybrid, you will have to sacrifice one Nano-SIM.

To begin with, it is worth noting that the processor part of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 is much faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 (in AnTuTu: 133830 versus 87195 points), but the integrated graphics are not particularly powerful (21078 versus 19529 points), so you shouldn't count on a big increase in games. fps. In practice, the smartphone quickly and without hesitation copes with any usual tasks. With games, too, everything is good enough. In WoT Blitz, you can quite comfortably destroy tanks at high graphics settings with a frame rate of 30-60 fps. Injustice 2 works quite smoothly, but not all graphics are displayed (for example, no shadows). In Asphalt Xtreme and Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, you can get comfortable fps at high graphics settings and at high resolution, but the latter slows down a little in cutscenes. PUBG Mobile allows you to run relatively comfortably with a "High" graphics profile, but it's still better to downgrade to "Balance" or "Smooth". During prolonged gaming battles, the body of the device becomes evenly warm without causing discomfort.

We also ran the built-in drive in the benchmark. EMCP memory showed read and write speeds of 225.53 MB / s and 153.38 MB / s, respectively.

In turn, ASUS ZenFone 5Z received a top 10-nm SoC processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (SDM845). It consists of eight 64-bit cores: four Kryo 385 Gold (based on ARM Cortex-A75) and four Kryo 385 Silver (based on ARM Cortex-A55). High-performance cores operate at 2.8 GHz, while energy-efficient cores operate at 1.8 GHz. Responsible for the graphics is Qualcomm Adreno 630 with support for OpenGL ES 3.2 and OpenCL 2.0, as well as the latest versions of Vulkan and Microsoft DirectX 12 (feature level 12_0). The amount of LPDDR4X RAM is 6 GB, and the permanent memory is 64 GB, represented by the fastest UFS 2.1 standard at the moment. You can also use a microSD memory card (up to 2 TB), but, again, the tray is hybrid.

There is nothing special to say here. The flagship processor and top-end graphics allow you to comfortably solve any mobile task. Only the most advanced graphics benchmarks can overload the smartphone. But who plays the benchmarks? In normal games, the flight is great! Even at maximum settings in WoT Blitz, we get almost stable 60 fps. Injustice 2 works great, but for some reason all the same shadows are not displayed (perhaps the jamb of the game itself). The most graphical Asphalt Xtreme races run smoothly at high settings and high resolutions. In Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, you can safely twist everything to the maximum. PUBG Mobile allows you to set a graphical profile "Maximum", but "Ultra" is not available. It's okay to play, but some gamers might switch to the High profile for a smoother experience. Gaming marathons make the body of the gadget noticeably warm up, this is especially felt on the aluminum frame, but it does not go beyond the permissible limits. In any case, you should be careful not to leave a heated smartphone on cold surfaces, keeping in mind the properties of glass.

As for the speed indicators of the built-in UFS 2.1 drive, the results are as follows: read and write speeds are at 624.9 MB / s and 129.65 MB / s, respectively.

Separately, it is worth mentioning that all smartphones were tested in the default mode, but the manufacturer has provided a "Speed Boost" profile, which allows you to squeeze out an additional 10-13% of performance. This increases the heating of the case and the rate of discharge of the battery.

ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z work on all modern networks: 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA and 4G LTE Cat.12/13. Smartphones use LTE bands 3 and 7, that is, there will be no problems with 4G support in Ukraine. Working with two SIM-cards is implemented according to the Dual standard SIM Dual Standby. There is only one radio module, so when talking from one SIM card, the second one will be temporarily unavailable. During testing, there were no complaints about its work. The earpiece speaker and microphones perform well. The vibration alert is average in strength, ringing, clear, without any extraneous sounds.

Communication capabilities are quite rich and are represented by the following modules: NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi. The latter has support for 802.11a / b / g / n / ac protocols and is capable of operating in dual bands (2.4 and 5 GHz).

Search Wi-Fi points and connecting to them is fast, and established connection has good stability.

The navigation module is characterized by support for GPS (A-GPS), GLONASS and Beidou systems. The ASUS ZenFone 5Z took only 1 second to cold start, while the ASUS ZenFone 5 took 13 seconds.

Autonomous work

The capacity of the built-in batteries is 3300 mAh, which is not too much by modern standards. But thanks to the energy-efficient filling and software optimizations, we have a standard day and a half of uninterrupted operation with an average load (several hours of display operation, calls, SMS, music, some internet). Plus, they promise that AI learns the user's habits by selecting optimal parameters power and energy consumption, which should further increase the autonomy. However, this can only be verified with prolonged use of the devices.

As a result of watching HD video (MPEG-4 / AVC, MKV container, 4 Mbps stream) ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z were discharged in 9 hours 53 minutes and 10 hours 24 minutes, respectively. A game simulation using the Deus Ex GO ran out of battery power in 3 hours 53 minutes and 3 hours 43 minutes, respectively.

The estimated battery life of ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z according to PCMark is 8 hours 43 minutes and 9 hours 5 minutes, while GFXBench gave a result of 386 and 112.9 minutes, respectively. In all cases (except for the gaming one), the display brightness was 50%, and the Wi-Fi and GPS modules were also activated.

Both smartphones support technology fast charging Quick Charge 4. But the bundle with ASUS ZenFone 5 comes with a simple charger (5 V, 2 A, 10 W), but the ASUS ZenFone 5Z charger has support for fast charging (9 V, 2 A, 18 W). Unfortunately, the latter was not included in our test. From normal charging charge recovery takes about two hours. According to ASUS, the 18-watt charger will allow you to replenish 60% of the charge in 38 minutes.

Outcomes

Let's start summarizing with the junior model. The novelty left a very pleasant impression. The user gets an excellent appearance, albeit with some borrowings from Apple, a large and juicy display, good sound quality (stereo speakers and headphones), cameras excellent for their price, up-to-date and functional software, abundantly flavored with newfangled AI, paired with decent performance ... All the necessary ports and connectors are available, as well as the most advanced wireless communications. Considering all this, we can safely recommend the "five" - it will not disappoint you.

As for the model, then almost all of the above is true for it. In this case, the main trump card of "Z-wea" is the flagship mobile processor that delivers uncompromising performance. This will especially appeal to fans of mobile games.

But since we have a flagship, then the demand from it is higher. Firstly, we were upset by the lack of dust and moisture protection, which has already become the norm for devices of this class or even lower. Secondly, if for the younger model the level of cameras is very good, then for the flagship they already look rather weak against the background of many serious competitors... Although now this can be compensated for by the price, especially if these two points are not critical for you.

Let's face it, by tightening up these two points, the device can easily impose competition on anyone. It is possible that ASUS will do this in the next generation of smartphones. Wait and see!
