We fill out a small form in which we indicate the country, working address Email and come up with a password, after which we press the "Continue" button.

To register, you need to go to the PayPal website and select your preferred interface language in the upper right corner. Among all the others, there is also Russian, which will greatly simplify the understanding of what the system wants from you. Then we press the button "register".

On the next page, you will see several fields: preferred language, country of residence, account type. Everything is pretty clear here and does not raise any questions. First of all, we enter the last name, first name and patronymic. All in Latin letters, and, as we have already said, it is desirable that the spelling of the full name coincides with what is written in the passport.

Date of Birth. Don't be ashamed of your age. Provide real data, because if you want to withdraw cash from your PayPal account, you will have to come with a document proving your identity. And if the data does not match, then the chance to get your money is zero.

Next comes the address and 2 lines are allocated for it. If everything fits in one, then we do not fill in the second. It is a backup, in case your street name is very long.

Town. Here indicate the city where you live at the moment. Americans have no concept of "residence permit", therefore, it does not matter to them what stamp there is in your passport, where you are officially registered.

State / Province / Region. We don't know why, but there are many questions on the forums regarding this point. Everything is pretty simple here. For Russia enter: RU, for Ukraine: UA, for Kazakhstan: KZ, for Lithuania: LT, etc.

Postcode. Please enter the residential address code shown above. Although PayPal is a modern payment system that uses the latest technology, but you can receive some alerts by mail.

Phone number. It must be specified in the international format. First write the country code (for Russia +7, for Ukraine +38), then the city code or mobile operator, and then the phone number itself. Linking a payment card

Next, the system will prompt you to specify the details of the payment card that will be linked to your PayPal account. If you are not ready to do this at the moment, you can skip the step by unchecking the corresponding checkbox. It should be noted that to authorize the card, the account must have an amount equivalent to several US dollars. PayPal temporarily blocks the amount to make sure that the card is working and belongs to you, and then returns it. For residents of Russia, the blocked amount is immediately credited to the PayPal account.

Credit card number. It is indicated on the title side. This is a 12-digit code that must be specified without spaces.

The expiration date of the credit card. It is also indicated on the title side, as a rule, immediately below the code. The date is specified in the format month \ year.

CSC - verification code (also called CVV2). These are the last 3 digits on the back of the card (4 digits for American Express cards). If you have any difficulties: click on the link "What is this". The verification process itself is not complicated and does not require any special knowledge or long expectations. The system withdraws $ 1.95 from your account. Then you need to take a statement of card transactions, and find this payment in it. The payment data will contain 4 numbers that must be entered on the site. Although you can set up currency conversion in your bank that issued your card (it's not difficult, the process will be shown below), if the exchange rate there is more profitable than in Paypal itself. I have already written in some detail about web money and those 99 ways that allow you to work with them with varying degrees of risk of losing your money (, and), but you should take at least a short break in working with this electronic money, and you are again puzzled and you understand how uncomfortable and overly complicated everything is.

I really want to hope that in the Paypel system there will be no security problems on such a scale as in WebMoney. Although, the theft of registration data and plastic card data using fake letters inviting to authenticate on fake websites () is still very important. But here it will be enough to take it as a rule - never enter a resource related to money through any links from letters or sites, only from the address bar or from browser bookmarks.

You will be prompted to select the type of account that you want to register in Paypal. The "Corporate" option provides for a lower commission for accepting funds to your account, but in RuNet the use of this payment system for online business is not yet widespread, but there is an opportunity to create a corporate account, and if necessary, you can use it.

Well, for the majority of future Paypal users, the best option would be to register an account for individuals by clicking on the "Continue" button. I advise you not to be lazy and go through this procedure. Also without verification of your card, you will not be able to receive transfers in dollars and other currencies other than rubles.

To get started, you will need to enter the Paypal website under your username (mailbox address specified during registration) and password, and then go from the main page by the add link and confirmation of your card (there will also be a link to confirmation of the mailbox, if you have not already done this - see the screenshot above).

Payment card verification is carried out as follows. After adding it, you re-enter this page, click on the desired card and select the "Confirm" option. An amount approximately equal to two dollars is withdrawn from your card (60 rubles were withdrawn from me). This money will then be returned to your Paypal account.

Your task is to get acquainted with the details of the payment made through Internet banking, the data from the received SMS or by calling the bank (or a trip). The first four digits that will appear in a record like "PP * XXXX CODE or PayPal * XXXXCODE" are confirmation code (verification) your possession of this card linked to your account.

When the transfers arrive, you just have to go through Internet banking and see the specific numbers of transfers. You will need to enter them on the same "Account" tab.

4. Enter the details of your payment card from which payments will be made (in the future, the card can be changed or an additional one can be added).
