Sometimes it happens that the gaming mouse connected to the computer does not work at all. The most common problem is missing drivers motherboard... In order to install software from the developer A4Tech Bloody V7 in the future, you first need to search for files to USB connectors that are on the system board. You will find detailed information on this topic below.

This concludes our article. We have detailed all four ways to find and install the driver for the A4Tech Bloody V7 gaming mouse. You can familiarize yourself with each instruction, and only then choose the most convenient one and follow it, thanks to which there will be no problems with installing the software and operating the device.

Or the keyboard is easy. Instead, new problems arise: how to choose the best out of all the variety? A pretty good model is the Bloody V7 mouse from A4Tech.

Series

A4Tech has been specializing in the production of such devices for a long time. Specifically, the Bloody series has become the best for many. It includes almost 30 models, which practically do not repeat externally, although they have similar features. To understand that we have a Bloody mouse on the counter, just look at the palm section. It is here that the red family logo is hidden, which is also highlighted in blood red during operation.

The series includes both regular black mice with small red elements, as well as bright artsy models. It is immediately clear that all Bloody manipulators are designed for playing shooters, although in fact they are suitable for all gaming projects. The mouse we are reviewing is the simplest and most inexpensive, although it does not cease to be an excellent "fighter" from this.

Package

Where does our Bloody V7 begin? Of course, from the packaging. Often it is for such subjective reasons that the buyer makes a choice in favor of a particular model. Someone liked the simple box, someone preferred bright and eye-catching printing.

Before us is a black and red package that has a hinged lid. Our "fighter" is hiding behind the door. Everything around is dazzling and "screaming". Inside, the main advantages are described, screenshots from games and other Technical information... The subfamily Gun3 is indicated in front, which includes our manipulator.

There is nothing supernatural inside the box. As usual, there is a CD with software, no drivers are needed for the device. The system automatically finds the controller and sets up synchronization with it. For the Bloody mouse, we prepared a number of documentation with different information, there are stickers with the logo of the series and the manufacturer, Teflon legs in reserve, which is especially nice, and a cloth for cleaning the device.

Appearance

This model is one of the quietest in the series. Therefore, if you do not need skulls, bright glowing lightning, neon inserts and other excesses, then this option is perfect. The body is made in black. High-quality plastic with soft-touch surface elements. The bottom is glossy.

The mouse can hardly be called weighty, but it is also not light, like many cheap Chinese counterparts. 150 grams in the hand is felt, but does not make the work heavier. It should be said right away that this option is suitable exclusively for right-handers, which is immediately evident from the shape of the case.

The palm section reminds us that we have a Bloody mouse in front of us. The family logo flaunts here, which is highlighted in red when you plug in the mouse. The sides of the device are somewhat concave and are ideal for the hand. There is even a thumb rest on the left, above which there are two more control buttons.

There is a wheel between the right and left mouse buttons, which, by the way, is also highlighted. Moreover, it can be done in different colors, depending on the mode. The wheel turns red, green or yellow. To adjust the modes, you need to press the buttons under the wheel.

There are four Teflon legs on the bottom of the manipulator. They have a fairly wide area. In the middle there is a sticker with service information and a sensor eye, which was protected from dust and dirt. Its maximum resolution is 3200 dpi.

The A4Tech Bloody V7 mouse cable was also good. There is a special red rubberized insert at the base to prevent stretch marks or fractures. The wire has a fabric braid with red and black elements to complement the mouse's style. Despite the strong and dense cable, it remains soft and does not bend anywhere.

There is a red USB connector on the back of the wire. It also has a family logo.

Options

Before us is the Bloody V7 gaming mouse, which is in the middle price segment... Of course, for some it will seem expensive, but most gamers understand why such a cost.

The model has a wired interface, it works only when connected to a PC via "Yusb". Has an optical LED sensor, a sampling rate of 1000 Hz. The operating speed is only 75 inches per second. The controller has a built-in memory of 160 KB. There are 7 buttons and a wheel on the body. In theory, a mouse has a life of 5 million clicks. The click latency is only 1ms, which again brings us to a gaming mouse.

Configuring and managing

How to setup mouse Bloody V7? it frequent question after buying a similar device. Not everyone knows that this is easy to do. You just need to install the proprietary software. The program is simple and straightforward. Has a user-friendly interface. Unfortunately, not all available options are free for the user. So, you can set a specific action for each key, adjust the functions of the left button, control the sensor resolution, set the condition under which automatic scripts are activated.

In the paid mode, there are many times more opportunities. Here you can set macros that make the game easier and more comfortable. Thanks to these modes, fine tuning controller actions. Such macros can be downloaded or installed from the proposed ones.

Thanks to them, you can adjust the weapon: suppress the recoil. Perceptibly fix responsiveness and movement, soften clicks, and more.

Our laboratory tested a novelty from A4Tech - the flagship model of the Bloody series gaming mouse.

The Bloody V7 comes in a colorful cardboard box. The front wall of the box can be easily opened like a book cover, thanks to which a potential buyer can examine the mouse enclosed in thin transparent plastic and even try on its case to his hand, without violating the integrity of the package.

In addition to the manipulator, the delivery set includes: a special cleaning cloth, three sets of spare self-adhesive sliding pads, a couple of stickers with the Bloody series logo, a warranty card and a CD with proprietary software.

First of all, you should pay attention to one of the features of the Bloody V7 model - the possibility of a paid upgrade. For $ 20, the owner of the manipulator can activate the Advanced Control Configuration (Core 3), which allows the use of macros and a number of additional game features. However, you can purchase a manipulator with already activated Core 3 mode - this is exactly the option that was provided for testing.

Design

Mouse Bloody V7 is made in an asymmetrical body, designed for right-handers. Its size will fit the owners of large palms. The gaze immediately catches on corners and chopped shapes, which give the manipulator a brutal look, fully corresponding to the name of the series. It is gratifying that this does not compromise ergonomics. On the left side of the case, there is a recess with a support area for the thumb. Several small indentations are made on the surface of the recess for more reliable contact with the hand. On the right side of the case there is a ledge for the ring finger, and below there is a notch for the little finger. This makes the mouse comfortable whether you prefer using a pair of main keys and a scroll wheel with two or three fingers.

View of the mouse from the side of the top panel

The top panel and surfaces of a pair of main buttons are made of dark, soft-touch plastic with a matte surface. Between the panels of the main keys there is a wedge-shaped insert made of black glossy plastic, on which there are three buttons for selecting the firing mode (marked as "1", "N" and "3"), as well as a scroll wheel. Chained V-shaped buttons are made of dark plastic with a glossy finish. The wheel is made of matte translucent material and is illuminated from the inside when the mouse is connected to a PC. In the center, the outer surface of the wheel is edged with a rubber pad with a V-shaped embossed lugs, which provides reliable contact with the finger. On the left side of the case, above the thumb recess, there are two additional buttons.

For smooth and smooth movement on the working surface, on the lower plane of the mouse body, there are four wide teflon-coated pads, each of which has an original shape.

The mouse is connected to the computer by USB interface... The cable, wrapped in a red and black woven braid, is attached to the mouse body under the inner edge of the left button, approximately 7mm from the support surface. The cable is 1.8m long, which is enough to reach the connectors system unit even if it is installed under the table. The Bloody logo Velcro strap allows you to neatly collect excess cable. The connector housing with the Bloody series embossed logo is made of red plastic.

We should also talk about the optical sensor with Holeless Engine technology installed in this model. As with the V-Track sensors, which A4Tech began to implement in its manipulators a couple of years ago, a vertically directed beam with a large luminous flux is used to illuminate the working surface. This design ensures high accuracy (the resolution of the Bloody V7 sensor declared by the manufacturer is 3200 cpi) and stable operation of the manipulator on a variety of surfaces, both smooth and uneven. A distinctive feature of the Holeless Engine technology is a sealed design. A small (slightly more than 3 mm in diameter) round hole through which the beam passes is completely covered by an external lens. This prevents dust and dirt from getting inside the mouse case. And in case of contamination of the outer surface of the lens, it can be cleaned with literally one stroke.

It is also interesting to note that this mouse is characterized by low power consumption: it only needs 50 mA to operate, while most other mouse devices require 100 mA.

First impressions

Well, it's time to connect your mouse to your computer. After a short pause, the backlight of the scroll wheel and the Bloody logo on the top panel of the manipulator comes on. The mouse works without problems with the driver installed by the operating system by default. However, in order to access the setting additional functions, you need to install the firmware from the supplied CD-ROM. We will deal with this a little later, but for now we will evaluate the ergonomics and "all-terrain" qualities of the manipulator.

The mouse body fits comfortably in the hand. The main keys have a short stroke and well-chosen pressing force: they cannot be called tight, and at the same time the probability of false positives is practically reduced to zero. The wheel is in its usual place (under the outer knuckle of the middle finger), and the rubber edging on the rim provides excellent traction. The ratchet mechanism works quietly and easily, while still providing a clear tactile sensation for each step of the scroll. Like most modern mice, the wheel also doubles as an extra button.

Two additional buttons located on the left side of the case are easy to press thumb, and a small gap between them allows you to accurately find the right one by touch. The only thing you can find fault with is a rather loud click accompanying the pressing of the main keys.

One of the indisputable advantages of this mouse is its unpretentiousness to the material and texture of the working surface. The sensor works stably on the vast majority of "household" coatings, including polished stone, lacquered wood and painted metal, which are quite insidious for optical sensors. No less impressive results were obtained when operating on various types of fabrics, including materials with short and long pile. So, if necessary, this mouse can be used without any problems on the armrest of the chair, on the sofa cushion, and even on the floor - whether it be parquet, linoleum or carpet. There are not so many surfaces on which the sensor does not work at all - this is a mirror, as well as clean transparent glass and transparent plastic.

Thus, the "all-terrain" qualities of Bloody V7 can be assessed as "excellent", and not only from the standpoint of gaming, but also universal mice designed for use both at home and in mobile conditions. To be honest, such a result was quite expected, given the fact that the optical sensor with which the Bloody V7 is equipped is an evolutionary development of the well-proven V-Track.

Additional functions

Let's move on to the most interesting part - the study of additional functions. In order to access all the manipulator settings, you need to install the proprietary Bloody3 utility from the supplied CD.

One of the features of this model is the ability to choose different control configurations, which in the manufacturer's terminology are called cores. There are three of them. The simplest - Core 1 - is designed to work with office and multimedia applications, as well as for real-time strategy and RPG games. In this configuration, the user can independently define the functions of the scroll wheel and each of the manipulator buttons.

In the Sensivity tab of the Bloody3 utility, you can quickly change the resolution in the range from 100 to 3200 cpi. The user can select up to three settings (including with different values for the vertical and horizontal axes), which after pressing the Apply button will be saved in the built-in memory of the manipulator. To quickly switch between these settings, you need to double-click on the "1" button of the mouse - the backlight of the scroll wheel will start blinking at a high frequency, and a scale indicating the current value will be displayed on the screen. The selection of the desired value is carried out by turning the wheel, and confirmation is by pressing the button "1".

Bloody3 utility lets you program button and scroll wheel functions

Also, in the Sensivity tab, you can select the desired bus polling frequency (125, 250, 500 or 1000 Hz) and the response time to button presses.

In the Core 2 configuration, which is intended for FPS games, the function becomes available. UltraGun3... Buttons "1", "N" and "3" in this case are used to switch the firing mode (respectively, one, two and three shots in a row for each press of the left mouse button). The current setting can be easily identified by the color of the wheel: when you activate mode "1", it is highlighted in red, "N" - in green, and "3" - in yellow.

In the Core 3 configuration, the user has a customizable recoil-compensated shooting function ( Headshot), as well as the ability to create, load and edit macros.

Function Headshot allows you to program the rate of fire and the amount of displacement of the sight after each shot. Perhaps some readers will have a question: why is this necessary at all? The fact is that in many modern games of the FPS genre, an imitation of the recoil of a firearm is provided: after each shot, the sight shifts upward. As a consequence, in order to hit the target with several shots, the player has to compensate for this displacement by moving the mouse in the opposite direction, which reduces the speed and accuracy of shooting. Function Headshot allows you to compensate for virtual recoil by automatically shifting the sight after each shot at a specified distance. Thus, by choosing the settings for the weapon used, the player can significantly increase the accuracy of fire.

Headshot parameter setting window

There are two basic modes for manual reloading weapons ( Burst and Strafe) and one for automatic ( Machine). In modes Burst and Strafe You can program a cycle of up to five and eight shots, respectively, by setting the intervals between each pair of shots, as well as the amount of vertical and horizontal displacement of the sight after each of them. In addition, there is an option to return the sight to starting position at the end of the cycle. Mode Machine differs in that the value of the interval between shots is set immediately for the entire cycle.

Mode In game allows you to change the settings of the Headshot function directly during the game. When you double-click on the button selected for the call this regime("N" or "3"), the wheel illumination starts blinking at a high frequency, and a small window appears on the screen. By turning the wheel, you can change the interval between shots, and use the side buttons to set the required displacement along the vertical axis. Entering the changed data is carried out by pressing the button to call the current mode.

To use the function Headshot, you need to switch the mouse to the Core 3 configuration and associate the activation of the required shooting algorithms with the "N" and "3" buttons. For maximum convenience, it is possible to save settings, as well as load ready-made profiles for various games, types of weapons and screen resolutions.

Macro editor

As already mentioned, when you activate Core 3 mode, the function of creating, editing and loading macros is available. The corresponding tools are available in the tab Oscar Macro proprietary utility Bloody3.

It is important to note that the data on the selected settings and modes are saved in the internal memory of the manipulator. Thus, any changes made by the user (including the functions of the controls and macros) will remain in effect even if the mouse is connected to another computer, regardless of whether the Bloody utility is installed or not.

Conclusion

Let's summarize. In the list of advantages of this manipulator - high quality assembly, comfortable shape case, spectacular appearance(especially in the twilight, beloved by many gamers), a durable and long enough cable that does not interfere even with sudden movements. The range of customization controls available in the Core 3 configuration is designed to meet the needs and whims of even the most discerning gamer. We should also mention the optical sensor, the design of which provides reliable protection against dirt and stable operation of the mouse on most surfaces encountered in everyday life.

Thanks to the ability to switch control configurations, this model can be easily adapted to the specifics of the tasks performed and the needs of the owner. And this applies not only to games. Sophisticated ergonomics allow you to comfortably perform quite mundane tasks like web surfing, working with e-mail and office programs etc.

Thus, A4Tech Bloody V7 is an excellent option for those who want to purchase a universal mouse that provides maximum comfort both in dynamic games and in everyday work with a PC. Since a significant part of the capabilities of this manipulator is available only after activating the Core 3 configuration, we strongly recommend purchasing a mouse with this option, especially since the difference in price with the basic version is not so great.

Currently, A4Tech is preparing to release the next model of the Bloody series, which will receive the V8 index. One of the distinctive design features of this manipulator is the Ultra-Sensitive Metal Feet sliding pads, made from a metal alloy.

The main disadvantage of the currently widespread Teflon linings is wear. With intensive use, their surface is quickly erased and covered with scratches, which increases friction with the working surface and, as a result, the manipulator's stroke on many surfaces becomes more difficult. In addition, as the sliding pads wear out and their thickness decreases, the distance between the bottom plane of the mouse body and the supporting surface changes, and this can affect the stability and accuracy of the optical sensor.

According to the developers, Ultra-Sensitive Metal Feet is free from these drawbacks. They have high strength and resistance to mechanical stress, due to which, even with intensive use, their surface remains smooth for a long time, and the thickness remains unchanged.

Assess the merits new technology Not only will future owners of Bloody V8 be able to: there will also be sets of Ultra-Sensitive Metal Feet in red for a variety of gaming mice. Thus, everyone will be able to independently upgrade their manipulator.

Mouse A4Tech Bloody V7 has great functionality and high accuracy thanks to the built-in optical sensor at 3200DPI. The presence of internal memory allows you to significantly speed up the exchange of data between the mouse and the computer.

Protected optical cable

To connect a mouse, the built-in USB cable double braided. An increased degree of protection is necessary to ensure high reliability and durability of the device. The cable is 180 cm long and the braid is made of high-strength fabric.

The gg audience interested in gaming accessories probably remembers the Bloody Gun3 V5 A4Tech combat mouse. This time we got its older sister Bloody Gun3 V7 A4Tech. In fact, it differs only in shape, and everything else, including specifications, is the same for all devices in the series. This also applies to "legalized cheats" for shooters, that is, the ability to fine-tune the weapon through proprietary software, for example, to conduct continuous shooting with strafe, correction and recoil suppression, or firing in bursts of three shots. You can read about all this in the Bloody Gun3 V5 A4Tech review, here we will focus on the usability of the mouse and its shape.

Specifications

Do you like "anatomically shaped" mice? Or asymmetric, if simple? Many gamers, I have no doubt, will answer this question in the affirmative. Frankly, for me, accustomed to manipulating the "rodent" through the left limb, it was somewhat difficult (forgive the pun) to test the Bloody Gun3 V7 to the bone marrow designed for a right-handed person. Nevertheless, observing a wide variety of devices, I got used to this kind of difficulties: the adaptability to unusual gadgets has increased significantly, and, in fairness, attracted a person to comment, not just a right-hander, but a right-handed gamer. He dispelled my doubts: the mouse lies perfectly in his right hand, and obeys it in an almost perfect way. The only drawback is that two additional buttons on the left side of the mouse are very easy to press accidentally, especially if you are not used to it.

The mouse is large, designed mostly for a man's hand. This is logical, the vast majority of gamers belong to the strong half of humanity, but perhaps the younger generation of shooters will experience a certain inconvenience associated with the high back and the generous width of the device.

The Bloody Gun3 V7 A4Tech has a 180 cm "tail" with a fabric braid. The weight of the mouse is average, weights that regulate the weight are not provided either by the design or by the kit. But the box contained a disc with drivers and proprietary Bloody2 software (again referring to the Bloody Gun3 V5 A4Tech review), additional feet for greater stability of the mouse, a silky cloth for cleaning, a quick user's guide and a warranty card. And also two stickers with a bloody right hand. The very one that is the symbol of the series and flashes an unkind light on the back of the device covered with Soft Touch-plastic.

Above, under the wheel (as usual in the series - large and convenient) there are three buttons that regulate the firing modes (by default - single, double, triple shots). On the left side, which is covered with a simple rough plastic with serifs, as mentioned above, there are two configurable keys (by default - scrolling pages down and up). The right side is varnished, I don't know why. It would be better if the sidewalls were paved with a rubberized coating. Perhaps the material of the edges, along with the payment for the third software core (which expands the possibilities of shooting in games), are the most serious drawbacks of this inexpensive and effective gaming rodent for a person who is used to using a mouse with his right hand. And so - a well-functioning, highly sensitive, fine-tuned game pad.
