At IFA 2018, Lenovo also showed its new products. A fresh laptop-transformer Lenovo Yoga C630 arrived in Berlin - the first laptop in the world that plows on the Snapdragon 850 mobile chip. And it also offers simply brutal autonomy!
First, let's talk about the main thing - this, of course, is the device's processor. Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 runs on 8 Kryo 385 cores with maximum frequency 2.96 GHz. For a computer, this is a great option, especially when paired with 4 / 8 GB LPDDR4X random access memory.
Yes, the graphics are integrated here (Adreno 630), so it’s obviously impossible to play on the laptop (yes, it’s not needed for this), but it’s definitely enough for everyday and work tasks. In general, Lenovo states that overall performance increased by 30% compared to previous Snapdragon-devices of the company.
In addition, not only good performance is important in the new "dragon". Since the Snapdragon 850 is half mobile processor, Yoga C630 offers the user some interesting features. First of all, this is a built-in 4.5G LTE Advanced Pro modem with a data transfer rate of 1.2 Gbps. In other words, insert a SIM card into a special slot, and you no longer need any Wi-Fi - use high-speed Internet, like on a smartphone.
There is another interesting feature. And she is perhaps the most important and pleasant. The fact is that the laptop is able to work without recharging for more than 25 hours! According to the manufacturer, the operating time was tested on scrolling a local video, without an Internet connection - but with working network the figure is unlikely to decrease significantly. So the owner of the Yoga C630 is provided with a whole day of charge, and this is very cool. The capacity of the battery is not yet known.
At the same time, the laptop turned out to be compact and ergonomic. Its thickness in the closed state is only 12.5 mm, and the case is 1.2 kg.
What is known from other parameters? While a little. 13.3" Full HD touch display, full keyboard, 128/256GB UFS2.1 SSD. On the display, by the way, you can work with the Lenovo Active Pen stylus. Of the connectors USB Type-C and an audio output for headphones. Also on the body is a fingerprint scanner.
You can buy Lenovo Yoga C630 starting from November. The exact date of sales is not yet known. But they named the price, and it is rather big - $849.99, or 57,500 rubles.
What do you think about Lenovo Yoga C630? Would you buy?

Lenovo A630 is a solid budget smartphone at a low price
How is Lenovo different from most other smartphone companies? She tries to satisfy all customers by creating devices from budget segment to premium. One of the representatives budget phones this manufacturer is the Lenovo A630 model, which will be discussed in this article. If you wish, you can study in more detail.
The product package is standard, as for everything else. model range. The small box contains the phone itself, a micro-usb cable, a charger with an adapter and standard headphones, which do not shine with special quality. From pieces of paper - instructions in Chinese and a warranty card.
What is primarily interesting this model devices? At the cost! It is very low for devices on Android based, but at the same time it was made not by underground craftsmen, but by the eminent Lenovo company, which implies good quality assembly and performance sufficient for an undemanding user.
The heart of the device is a dual-core MTK processor 6577 Dual Core 1 GHz, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory, which is the standard for budget segment devices. The phone is hidden in an 11 mm thick case, which is already quite a lot at the moment. Perhaps this is one of the downsides.
Video: smartphone review
Like most others Lenovo phones, this model works in two communication standards: WCDMA and GSM. The Lenovo A630 provides simultaneous support for two SIM-cards.
The phone also supports microSD memory cards. The battery of the device is 2500 mAh, which is sufficient for the phone to work for 1.5-2 days in a not very intensive mode.
Upon purchase, the phone comes pre-installed with Android 4.0.4 operating system. By tests Antutu Benchmark 4.0 device scored 8253 points.
Camera
The camera in the A630 is one at 3 megapixels, and even that without autofocus and without flash, so you can’t count on creating masterpieces of photographic art with it.
The back panel of the Lenovo A630 is made of nice soft-touch plastic, which does not show fingerprints at all. On it is located Lenovo logo, camera lens and speaker.
The front of the smartphone has placed the Lenovo logo, speaker grille, 4.5 inch display and three touch buttons management also:
- On the left side there is a volume rocker.
- The bottom edge houses the microphone hole.
- On the right side is the on / off button for the device.
- The top has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro-usb jack.
