Lithuania post tracking of postal items. History of postal and postage stamps of Lithuania. Other types of postage stamps

To track your parcel, you need to take a few simple steps.
1. Go to home page
2. Enter the track code in the field with the heading "Track mailing"
3. Click on the "Track parcel" button located to the right of the field.
4. After a few seconds, the tracking result is displayed.
5. Study the result, and especially carefully the last status.
6. The projected delivery period, displayed in the track code information.

Try it, it's not difficult;)

If you do not understand the movement between postal companies, click on the link with the text "Group by company", which is located under the tracking statuses.

If you have any difficulties with statuses on English language, click on the link with the text "Translate into Russian", which is located under the tracking statuses.

Carefully read the section "Information about the track code", there you will find approximate delivery times and other useful information.

If, during tracking, a block is displayed in a red frame with the heading "Pay Attention!", Carefully read everything that is written in it.

In these information blocks, you will find 90% of the answers to all your questions.

If in the "Pay Attention!" it is written that the track code is not tracked in the country of destination, in this case, tracking the parcel becomes impossible after the parcel is sent to the country of destination / after arriving at the Moscow Distribution Center / Item arrived at Pulkovo / Arrived at Pulkovo / Left Luxembourg / Left Helsinki / Sending to the Russian Federation or after a long pause of 1 - 2 weeks, it is impossible to track the location of the parcel. Nothing, and nowhere. No way at all =)
In this case, you need to wait for a notification from your post office.

To calculate the delivery time in Russia (for example, after export, from Moscow to your city), use the "Delivery Control Time Calculator"

If the seller promised that the package will arrive in two weeks, and the package travels for more than two weeks, this is normal, the sellers are interested in sales, and therefore they are misleading.

If less than 7-14 days have passed since the receipt of the track code, and the package is not tracked, or the seller claims that he sent the package, and the status of the package is "the item pre-advised" / "Received electronic notification"does not change for several days, this is normal, you can read more details by clicking on the link:.

If the status of a postal item does not change for 7 - 20 days, do not worry, this is normal for international postal items.

If your previous orders arrived in 2-3 weeks, and a new package has been traveling for more than a month, this is normal, because parcels go on different routes, different ways, can wait for sending by plane for 1 day, or maybe a week.

If the parcel has left the sorting center, customs, intermediate point and there are no new statuses for 7 - 20 days, no need to worry, the parcel is not a courier who carries the parcel from one city to your home. In order for a new status to appear, the parcel must arrive, unload, scan, etc. at the next sorting point or post office, and this takes much more time than just getting from one city to another.

If you do not understand the meaning of such statuses as Acceptance / Export / Import / Arrived at the place of delivery, etc., you can see the decoding of the main statuses of international mail:

If, 5 days before the end of the protection period, the parcel is not delivered to your Postal office, You have the right to open a dispute.

If, based on the above, you do not understand anything, read this instruction again, and again, until you are completely enlightened;)

Issues of postage stamps

First brands

The first postage stamps of Lithuania (issue "Baltukai") were issued in Vilnius in 1918.

Subsequent issues (up to 1940)

During the period of independence from 1918 to 1940, the Republic of Lithuania issued only 768 postage stamps original drawings. Taking into account errors, typing errors and differences in notching, there are more than 2 thousand varieties of them.

Below are the series of standard stamps that were issued during this historical period:

First standard issue (1919-1920)

It was intended to replace the stamps of the temporary issue of 1918-1919. The basis design stamps of this issue was the image of the state emblem of the Republic of Lithuania. In 1919, stamps were issued in denominations of 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75 skatics, 1, 3 and 5 auxines. In 1920, additional stamps were issued in denominations of 40 skatics and stamps in 15 and 20 skatics were reissued. In 1922, a new denomination (4 auxinayas) was overprinted on a part of the edition of 75 stamps. In 1922, after the monetary reform, the stamps of the first standard issue were overprinted with a new denomination: 1 cent - on stamps in 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 skatics, 2 cents - on stamps in 50, 60 and 75 skatics, 3 cents - on stamps in 1, 3 and 5 auxinai, 5 cents - on stamps in 4 auxinai, issued in 1922.

Second standard issue (1921-1922)

It is represented by stamps printed in 1921 in denominations of 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80 skatics, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 25 and 100 auxinays. In 1922, 4 and 8 auxinai stamps were also issued. The main plots of the stamps of the second standard issue were as follows: a sower (10, 15, 20 skatics, 4 and 8 auxinays), a peasant with a scythe (30, 50 and 60 skatics), a portrait of Gedemin (40, 80 skatics, 1 and 2 auxinai) and stylized image of the state emblem (3, 5, 10, 25 and 100 auxinai). In 1922, after the monetary reform, the stamps of the second standard issue were also overprinted with a new denomination: 1 cent (on a 50 scatik stamp), 3 cents (on 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 scatik stamps), 5 cents (50, 60 and 80 skatics), 10 cents (1 and 2 auxinayas), 15 cents (4 auxinayas), 25 cents (3, 5 and 10 auxinayas), 50 cents (25 auxinayas) and 1 litas (on a stamp of 100 auxinai).

Third standard issue (1923-1933)

The first of the standard issues, denominated in the new national currency. In 1923, stamps were issued in 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 25, 36, 50, 60 cents, 1, 3 and 5 litas. The 50 and 60 cent stamps were subsequently reprinted twice (in 1925 and 1933). The design of the stamps for this issue was dedicated to ethnographic themes.

Fourth standard issue (1927-1933)

It is represented by stamps of two designs: on stamps in cents there was an image of a double cross framed by oak branches, on stamps in litas framed by oak branches there was an image of the state emblem. In 1927, stamps were issued in 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 25 cents, 1, 3 and 5 litas. In 1929, a stamp of 30 cents was issued and 5 and 15 cents were reissued, in 1930 stamps in 15 and 30 cents were reissued, in 1931 - 2 and 10 cents, in 1933 - 2, 10 and 15 cents.

Fifth regular issue (1934-1936)

It is represented by stamps issued in 1934 in 2, 5, 10, 25, 35, 50 cents, 1, 3, 5 and 10 litas. In 1936, the 2 and 5 cents stamps were reissued in a changed color. The design of the stamps in this series was based on heraldic images and allegorical figures symbolizing the Lithuanian statehood. In 1940, a 2-cent stamp (issued in 1936) was used to issue stamps of the Lithuanian SSR (by applying on it, like other stamps of the Lithuanian SSR, two lines overprinting "LTSR 1940 VII 21").

Sixth standard issue (1937-1939)

At the heart of its design, it had a stylized image of the state emblem. In 1937, stamps were issued in denominations of 10, 25, 35 and 50 cents, and in 1939 - in 1 litas. The 50 cent stamp of this issue was used for the production of stamps of the Lithuanian SSR.

Seventh regular issue (1940) Represented by stamps in denominations of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 35 cents. The design of the series was based on ethnographic motives, in particular, on the 35-cent stamp there was a stylized image of the "iron wolf Gedemin". All stamps of this issue were used for the manufacture of stamps of the Lithuanian SSR.

Period of the Lithuanian SSR

After the incorporation of Lithuania into the Soviet Union in 1940, stamps of the Lithuanian SSR (1940-1941) began to be used on its territory, and later Soviet postage stamps (1944-1990).

Modern Lithuania (since 1990)

After the restoration of independence (1990), Lithuania resumed the production of its own stamps, starting with the series of standard stamps "Angelas" ( "Angelas"), which contained the image of an angel and came out in huge circulation.

Airmail

On May 18, 1934, on the first anniversary of the death of the Lituanica, the original six-stamp airmail issue was made (# C79-C84). The story of this heroic flight and the issue of 1934 dedicated to it formed the basis of the story "Lituanik" (1967) by the Soviet writer Nikolai Vnukov. In 1935, the Consul General of Lithuania in New York arranged the issuance of a special commemorative stamp with an overprint "Oro pastas. Lituanica II. 1935 New York - Kaunas "(# 307), however, it has not been issued.

Philately development

In Soviet times, Lithuanian collectors were united in the branches of the All-Union Society of Philatelists (VOF) - city and republican. Among the various events in which the members of these branches participated and carried out, one can mention the inter-republican exhibitions of young philatelists. Young lovers of stamps from Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia and Belarus gathered there. The first such meeting took place in Tallinn in 1972, the second in Riga in 1973. The third inter-republican exhibition was held on June 13-29, 1975 in Lithuania, in the M.K. Čiurlionis Kaunas Museum, and was organized by the Kaunas branch of the SAF. Five collections received gold medals, including two of them prepared by representatives of Lithuania: "The feat of our fathers" (N. Marashov and R. Asinavičius, Klaipeda) and "In the world of birds and animals" (A. Lebetkevičius, Vilkaviskis).

In modern independent Lithuania was created Lithuanian Philatelists' Union (Lietuvos Filatelistų Sąjunga, it. Union der Philatelisten Litauens), which is headed by Vygintas Bubnys (lit. Vygintas Bubnys). The magazine has been published since 1993 "Paštas ir filatelija Lietuvoje" ("Post and Philately of Lithuania").
