Weight restrictions

For small packages up to 2 kg, for parcels - up to 20 kg, for EMS shipments - up to 30 kg.

Size restrictions

For small packages: the minimum length-to-width ratio is 90x140 mm, no more than 100 mm in the largest dimension; the maximum sum of length, height and width must not exceed 900 mm, the length of the largest dimension must not exceed 600 mm.

For rolls: the minimum sum of the length and double the diameter is 170 mm, the maximum is 1040 mm (with the largest dimension not exceeding 900 mm).

For parcels: minimum - 90x140 mm, maximum - the sum of the length and the largest diameter should not exceed 2000 mm, the length of any measurement should not exceed 1050 mm.

For EMS shipments - no more than 1.5 m in the maximum dimension, no more than 3 m in the sum of the length and the largest diameter.

Content restrictions

Kazpost JSC does not accept for shipment international postal items containing weapons of all types, dangerous and poisonous substances, narcotic drugs, currency, bank notes and securities, live animals, as well as biological materials and valuable substances from animals and plants listed in Red Book of Kazakhstan. In addition, it is forbidden to send printed and other information prohibited for distribution; perishable foodstuffs; precious metals, precious stones and jewelry; other items and goods prohibited for import into the country of destination of the postal item. Shipment tracking

To track registered mail items, they are assigned a unique track number in the standard format of the Universal Postal Union. The number consists of 13 characters, where the Latin letter comes first R(for small packages), C(for parcels) or E(for EMS shipments). The second character is an arbitrary letter of the Latin alphabet to increase the uniqueness of the number, then a 9-digit numeric code, and finally a two-digit designation of the sender's country according to the S 10 UPU standard. Postal items from Kazakhstan have a track number ending with the letters KZ.

Information about the country of the recipient in the structure of the track number is not encrypted.
