The ultimatum of Steve Jobs is gone - there are completely different iPhones on the shelves. Below is my guide for those who approach the issue of purchasing a new gadget with the utmost rationality.
1. iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB
Price: 52-55 thousand rubles
The only smartphone on the market for which you are not ashamed to take a loan. Firstly, 7 Plus is still in the top in terms of characteristics - it will take at least another two years before obsolescence. Secondly, it is terribly practical - it is not afraid of water and most often survives falls due to the metal case.
But the main advantage is the versatility of the “plus”: it is suitable for comfortable watching movies / TV shows, and for games (almost does not heat up), and for photo-video shooting (the quality is at its best), and for banal surfing the net - thanks to the excellent screen and decent battery. If you look at the market situation quite objectively, it turns out that 7 Plus is not inferior in anything important even to the iPhone X.
Conclusion: when the "seven" cost 70+ thousand, there was a feeling that it was a little expensive. But for 50+ - the very thing: for less than a thousand dollars you will get a reliable, productive, durable and super-balanced gadget. It remains just not to lose it.
2. iPhone SE 128 GB
Price: 26.5-28 thousand rubles
Those who don't have a four-inch screen can scroll straight to the next item, but if size isn't a factor, then the iPhone SE is perfect. In fact, at the pre-crisis price list, you will get a miniature, light, thin and nimble device with a good camera and bottomless storage.
The battery there is also grandiose, so the SE is perfect for a vacation: you can listen to music, and take pictures, and scroll through social networks, and not worry that it will run out of power or fall out of your pocket. Class.
3. iPhone 6s 64 gigabytes (refurbished)
Price: 29-30 thousand rubles
You will have to hunt for this smartphone, because it is not sold everywhere, but the research is worth it. If we take it as an axiom that “refurbished” means “new”, then the 64 GB 6s is the most optimal 4.7-inch iPhone of all (6 is noticeably worse, 7 and 8 are much more expensive).
There is 3D Touch, a 3.5 mm jack too, the processor still pulls the system without lags, the battery is more or less, there is enough memory, and the design is not outdated yet. In general, if they asked me which device to buy for exactly 30 thousand, I would advise this particular station wagon.
4. iPhone 8 256 GB
Price: 56-57 thousand rubles
It's hard to disagree: the golden glass figure-of-eight is the most elegant, kitsch and stylish iPhone among all models with a design from 2014.
Fortunately, prices on the "gray" market quickly collapsed, so the gadget can already be taken for quite earthly, adequate money. As a bonus for loyalty - support for wireless charging and the most monstrous chipset among all smartphones.
The main thing is not to overpay: in no case should you buy an iPhone 8 from officials for 69 thousand rubles. It certainly isn't worth that much.
5. iPhone X 64 GB
Price: 77-80 thousand rubles
Infinite memory attracted Russian buyers: in the first hours after the launch of the iPhone X, people bought only black versions of 256 gigabytes. I didn’t have enough of such a smartphone, and I took a white one for 64 GB. I was despondent at first, and then spent an evening packing up 128GB of storage in an old iPhone 7 Plus. In 3-4 hours, I deleted unnecessary photos, erased useless applications, sent music to the cloud and cleared the memory so competently that out of 64 gigs on the iPhone X, I now have about 25. The rest is either in heaven or in the trash.
Accordingly, in the evening I saved 12 thousand rubles - a good cashback for general cleaning in smartphone files. I think that everyone could do the same: of course, it’s more pleasant to clog memory and not bathe at all, but sometimes it really makes sense to buy a cheaper option.
What exactly not to buy?
iPhone 5s- they are still asking for 15-17 thousand, although they do not pull either in terms of power or memory. 16 gigabytes is ridiculous.
iPhone 7 32 GB- it is better to buy a new iPhone 6s for 64 gigabytes for the same money. In 32, nothing will fit objectively.
iPhone 6 Plus- they are sold at good discounts, but you should not be tempted: firstly, the smartphone is rather weak in terms of specifications, secondly, there is a 16 gigabyte version (forget it), thirdly, Apple itself admits that the first "pluses" go off scale marriage percentage.
