Which iPhone was the most beautiful, and which was the most terrible?

Yesterday, a plausible picture of the seventh iPhone appeared on the network. Here he is:

Apple has redesigned the world's premier smartphone for only the fifth time in nine years. Below is my personal iPhone appearance rating. Note: not only the beauty of the body is taken into account, but also the overall resonance.

First iPhone (iPhone 2g)

He was magical – Steve Jobs definitely turned the game around. To hell with the stylus, to hell with the buttons - here's a device that will become part of you.

Drivers (and Artemy Lebedev) did not understand how it was possible to use a phone without keys while driving. Eldar Murtazin found three hundred minuses (and three months later he grabbed a pumpkin from SkyLink PR people - symbolically). Nokia laughed at first. To be honest, the iPhone did not excite me at all until 2010 - the year when:

1. There are a lot of unlocked first iPhones in Russia.
2. I got money for used iPhones.

Accordingly, in 2007, the iPhone was perceived as something fabulous. Now I understand that it was a revolution. Metal, plastic, bright capacitive screen, the most convenient player - despite a weak camera and a minimum of applications, the iPhone had the charisma of the first N-Series, multiplied by the charisma of the first RAZR. And most importantly: the iPhone came out in a single color. It was just an iPhone - not the first, not the second, not black, not gold. Regular iPhone. Six letters without specification. Greatness.

iPhone 4/4s

In order to poke at the retina screen, my friends and I came to shopping centers and ran our fingers over the fourth iPhone. In 2011, for the first (and last) time in my life, I wanted to take out a loan for the sake of an iPhone 4, but changed my mind and took aitach - the same screen, but much cheaper (something around 10k instead of 27k).

The rectangular fourth iPhone looked divine even with cracks. The reason is the bewitching glass: I am not at all surprised by insiders that the iPhone 8 will again be glass. Everyone is tired of metal, and even more so of plastic. Glass will be back in the top soon.

iPhone 7

All conclusions are based on the render. No stripes - great. A flat camera is also good. The rest is like in the sixth iPhone.

iPhone 6/6s

There was no smartphone that I was looking forward to more than the iPhone 6. My iPhone 4s was already weak by 2014, so I decided to upgrade ahead of time. In the design of the "six" I was satisfied with everything, except that it:

1. Strict and ordinary - easy to copy. Now there are three such iPhones for each texet.
2. Partially stolen from HTC - it's silly to argue with that.

The stripes, of course, did not care. I got used to the bulging camera in a week.

iPhone 5/5s

In September 2012, I was also waiting for the perfect iPhone, but I didn’t get what. I was madly annoyed that the back cover is not monophonic. Okay, the first iPhone was like that too, but only for the sake of the antenna below. And here - intentional dimming, the meaning of which I did not understand. Now I have a white 5s and the only thing that pisses me off is the two colors on the back. By the way, monotony is another plus of the great iPhone 4.

iPhone 5c

I don't know who was the target audience for this iPhone. Girls? Students? Children? Gays?

I suspect it was an experiment, but a little more successful than the experiment with the first YotaPhone. The iPhone 5c was inexpensive to manufacture and sold a decent (for Android vendors) circulation, but I'm sure Apple put an end to plastic.

For me, the iPhone 5c is the only iPhone that I have never thought about buying in my life.

iPhone 3G/3Gs

At the turn of the 2000s and the 10s, Android vendors had a great chance to drive Apple into the grave forever, but no luck: competitors (including those with Symbian and WM) made even tougher slag. Any 5800, 5530, WiTu - the same secondary as the iPhone 3G.

A plastic iPhone after an aluminum one is like silicone breasts after a night out with Kate Upton. The shape remains the same, but the iPhone has lost the magic of being an exceptional phone. Perhaps the ingenious transition from the iPhone 3Gs to the iPhone 4 in 2010 saved Apple from collapse.
